The food was good, but in the women’s restroom, as I was drying my hands after washing, an employee comes out of the stall and looks directly at me and leaves. Doesn’t wash her hands. Gross in general. I go back to my party and notice that the same employee was the one setting up and prepping the tables. I don’t really want unwashed-after-using-the-bathroom hands touching my napkins, soy sauce, plates and table. Also, I think there is a law that food employees have to wash their hands after using the bathroom? I told another waitress and she said she’d tell the manager. Afterwards I asked the manager about it and he said he would “talk to her about it later.” Personally I think that kind of issue is a sanitary and hygiene issue that should have been handled immediately. Instead the employee continued to set the tables with napkins, (that people use to wipe their mouths,) refill the soy sauce, etc. I think he could tell we were annoyed and disgusted by the response because he tried stopping us on our way out repeating over and over that he’ll “talk to her later.” The food was good but not good enough to ignore basic hygiene.

Been twice now. Food is average, nothing spectacular. You order on your phone but wait times our outrageous and sometimes you never get what you ordered. I’ve been twice and both times I’ve waited for over an hour for 1 complete order to come, just 4-5 items, nothing crazy. First time I didn’t say anything (my whole order never came), but the second time was told they are backed up in the kitchen. If this is the problem then the owner needs to cut out the phone ordering, it’s causing a backlog of orders in the kitchen which is resulting in long wait times and people not getting what they are ordering. I sat and watched on multiple occasions, 3 other tables that arrived after me get multiple orders of food before I even received one item. I also heard other people complaining about similar issues that I have had the past two visits. I love the concept, the little robot is cool, but this place could be even better.

We went to visit Sumo Japanese restaurant for the first time after church service. The food and the service were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and the robots service was a great touch.

Been here before and this time felt to review. Previously on multiple visits items have been missing or added that I did not order. Today after ordering , 35 minutes go by before I call someone to ask about it . I show them my phone and go back to show them I ordered and my order number. They never once say sorry for the system error. I finally get food another 10 minutes later. never once did they admit fault.

I've been wanting to try this place ever since Miyamoto went out of business and they took over. Some rolls were average but others were made with the low quality parts of the fish. Some nigiri pieces were warm and that was disturbing. The mackerel was not good at all and tasted very off. The non sushi items tasted old. The robot cat was cute but not worth getting below average sushi for close to 70$ for two people.

I was a bit disappointed since the foods weren’t fresh enough, and 3 out of 10 dishes we ordered didn’t actually deliver. We arrived at 11:15 am so it wasn’t a peak hour at all. We asked our server about this but the situation wasn’t solved. At the end we still didn’t get our order.

Price is good for lunch all you can eat (20$ per person). The service was friendly although you don't see the waiters much since most of the restaurant is self serve. The atmosphere was nice, large clean space. Robots bring food quickly and efficiently and it was a cool experience. The food was pretty mediocre. The rolls were pretty hit or miss. There is so much good sushi in seattle and surrounding areas I doubt I would come here again. But it was nice to experience once.

Parking: Big lot.

Kid-friendliness: Robots are cool for kids :)

Cool experience, they have robot waiters!

Yes, this is an all you can eat restaurant it's $30 p/p for dinner.

Dinner starts after 3pm.

$20.00 for lunch. (Limited menu items for lunch)

You can bring food home for an extra fee. I think ours was 10 bucks.

They had great selections to choose from, lots of different kinds of sushi, salmon, noodles, teriyaki, katsu...food was delicious! Will go back for sure.

I forgot to take photos because it was just that amazing. For $30 a person you get to order 10 items every 15 minutes. You would think the items would be small portions or low quality, but you would be very surprised on how good everything was and the freshness and speed they prepare everything.

They also have a open gyoza, miso soup, and other assorted appetizers that you can snack on all day. The food goes fast so the quality is always replenished.

Would recommend for solo or friends outing, perfect place for a fun date also!

I came in at about 7pm. Most of the self serve items were no longer available and not refilled. This included the miso soup. The rice on the sushi is not the best. The raw seafood is not the highest quality but expected for this price point. They allow ordering 15 items at a time. Then you have to wait about 15 more minutes before submitting a new order. I ate alone and i only ordered once. It was enough food for me. The robot drops off the food at your table in batches. That was a nice touch.

Parking: Restaurant is at street level.
