Under new management. This is my new teriyaki spot. Free egg drop soup when you dine in and the food and service was great. Had mine in a Togo box because I knew I wouldn’t finish lol but prices are fair as well got that lunch special best $12 I’ve spent on food in awhile.
It's a small place, pretty standard when you just walk in. Now, let me tell you why I thought it was great! I ordered teriyaki chicken breast with extra meat and no rice sub extra veggies, sauce on the side. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and katsu chicken combo. The food all came our right and pretty quickly. We ate there, and I was a little different to get all of our own supplies. The tables were clean and well maintained. I have very fond memories of coming to this restaurant when I was a kid in middle school with my brothers and mom. I would have the orange chicken + chow mein or teriyaki chow mein, and the egg drop soup was always a hearty, warm, comforting appetizer while waiting for our meals. The radio would play, sun coming through the blinds, and we’d be greeted with smiling faces of the owners who’d remember us coming back every time. I no longer live in Tacoma, but I think of this...
