I asked a friend who grew up in Tacoma to recommend the best fried chicken in Tacoma and Terry’s was number one on the list. I was absolutely not disappointed. I ate a whole half chicken by myself which is definitely a first. My wife got the chicken tenders and they were clearly fresh, not some flat frozen mystery chicken out of a plastic bag in the freezer. First time here. The food was really good. We had French dip, chili burger, and Ruben. The fries were the hand cut ones that were delicious. The bartender was also the server so he was running around. Will be back again.

Terrys Office Tavern is a great neighborhood bar that offers a comfortable place to enjoy good food. I’ve been there many times and particularly enjoy the Sunday breakfast. They are remodeling now and I look forward to more space and some outdoor seating as well!
