Nice place, food was delicious, drinks were good, and service was great. The music was ok. It is a pretty small place. For it to be considered an elevated lounge the ambience was ok. I give it a 4 star out of 5.
Recommended by the tiki community as the "new tiki in Tacoma", staff and I admitted it wasn't tiki. That said they have some tiki inspired cocktails, and can can easily make you a Mai Tai. More of a Mid-Century Modern/60's vibe, the decor is beautiful and the playlist gorgeous. The cocktails didn't disappoint, the food was a bit on the pricy side, but decent. We love the Boom Boom Room, server stated she wa new, so we definitely understand. She did well, but we waited a while just for napkin and utensils. It was busy so we totally understand. She was sweet and was attentive. Drinks were great as always, only complaint I have is the pork belly was super salty, unable to consume.
