The Cat and Rabbitt Cake Shop

Just came in for the first time today very lovely ladies there. Very helpful and kind. I used to drive to Tacoma just to get a slice of cake when I had the yearning. But now having one so close to home is really nice. They are equal if not better than celebrity cake studios in Tacoma. The cake was moist I had the carrot cake which is my favorite the cream cheese frosting was not overly powerful which is nice I don't tend to like a buttercream or cream cheese frosting that is super super sweet so this was very nicely done. I'll be back to try all their other flavors at some point. Thanks for opening such a neat place to have in town!

Always great service and cake options. ONLY one time did they forget one item and honored it a month later when I was around the area. Great cakes since when they were in Tacoma. They need to open a spot in Thurston County. Every dessert place in Thurston County is pretty horrible with the worst in Yelm. If anyone wants to taste sad desserts then come to Yelm and cry later for wasting money.

Absolutely the best local cake and goodies! Ready to buy cakes available, delectable flavor combinations, always moist and flavorful. Vegan and gluten free treat options too. Service is A1. Coffee bar has amazing quality coffee with everything you could dream of. Frequent customer program too! SO worth going! Love the sidewalk tables and merch. Woman owned!!!

Hands down the best cinnamon rolls you will ever eat and they are huge!!!!!! In fact they have some of the best pastries, cake and treats you will find around.

Went yesterday. Their cakes are incredibly moist and their icing isn’t too sweet. The slice was also way, way bigger than I anticipated. The perfect slice of cake for me. Their chocolate chip cookie blew me away. I wasn’t expecting it to be so soft and delicious given that they specialize in cakes, but they really nailed it with those. Service was excellent. Parking is a little iffy, but this is true of the majority of businesses downtown. Theres a pretty decent lot adjacent to the store. I’ll definitely be back, especially with these coming holidays.

Small, cute bakery and very clean! Didn't have to wait long for my order considering it was the weekend. :) The slice of cake was amazing!

My review is based only on customer service only. I went in today for the first time to get a whole cake as a gift for someone. I reached out on IG messenger last night and was guaranteed they’d have the whole cake I want there. When I arrived, I was not greeted and there were many employees there. I had to wave someone down to help me. Whoever it was working the front seemed really annoyed and was really just off putting. Said she sold the whole cake I was there to get and rudely told me it was first come first serve but she could go ask the manager if there was an exception to be made given I drove an hour and 20 mins to get there. The manager immediately approved for me to buy the whole cake and she showed me one out of the cooler and said there was also a different designed one (clear sprinkles vs frosting). She showed me the one with frosting. I asked to see the other designed cake with the clear sprinkles and she said to look on the bar but because there was only 1 slice left it wasn’t obvious how it looked. I blindly chose the clear sprinkles because she refused to go get the other cake to show me. If I’m spending $140 on a cake then I want to see what it looks like. Then I asked if they can write a message and she said with an attitude she can go ask. She came back and the decorator approved and the snooty lady asked what I wanted written and not halfway through what I was saying she aggressively hands me a pen and a sticky note pad and told me to write it down. You could tell she was visibly annoyed and was way ready to be done helping me. I was in the shop total MAYBE 15 mins. And I don’t know if I want to go back based off this experience alone. Pretty irritating I drove so far to get subpar service. Customer service is everything to me. I spent $140 on a cake I’m hoping is good because no one would give me any info on it there, they told me to check the website. I honestly should’ve just walked out and went elsewhere. Besides that, The shop is very tight quarters. But their displays and cakes are beautiful.

Absolutely delicious. I finally tried the new location recently, but I had been to the window in Tacoma a couple of times as well. The cakes are really lovely and the cinnamon rolls are unbelievable. HUGE, and so soft and cinnamon-y. Just perfect. The coffee is also solid, and the women who work here are always so friendly and welcoming. A lovely treat.

They either gave away or skipped our order today. People came and went before and after us. They apologized and made our order and offered a free goodie....only to get home and find out that one item....a brownie was missing from our order....so yea....so much for that. So dissapointed.
