The Loose Wheel Bar & Grill - Tacoma

This was my first time going to the loose wheel. The atmosphere is perfect with the pool tables in the background. The food was excellent and in large portions. And the service by Ashley B was outstanding! Will recommend all my friends and will definitely be back.

I typically frequent the Puyallup location and have a good time. However, this location has staff that is even more standoffish, the atmosphere is loud and uninviting as well as patrons that think they are cooler than everyone else. Parking is also a nightmare and I don’t know how anyone on a Friday night is able to park. There are much friendlier places in the area that I will be going to instead.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago, and thought about leaving a review, so here it is.
At first it was pleasant. I went there to meet a friend of mine. We both ordered breakfast omelets. Our server asked my friend , what kind of cheese she wanted. When it came to my Omelette, Our weight person didn't ask me anything.
When both of the omelets arrived, my friends was perfect. The server though , was holding my plate up above her shoulder and said that the cook made a mistake and scrambled my eggs. Would that be okay she asked. We had waited a bit and I was hungry , and I said , yeah , yeah , yeah , fine. She immediately set it down, walked away.And when I looked at my plate , I was shocked. Both are omelets supposed to be ham and cheese, i had nothing but ham , very little egg and absolutely no cheese in my scrambled omelette. Express my displeasure to our server who in turn, then says it was her mistake because she was too busy chatting! I forgot to make the adjustments. What adjustments? The men you have a build , your own ham and cheese omelette.
Needless to say when we got our bills , I still was charged for by meal , which I shouldn't have been. Our servers stood shoulder to shoulder with me, not exaggerating here, watching, as I did the touch screen to make a payment.She had arbitrarily already picked a twenty five percent tip and wanted me to leave a review. Trying to be generous while I was upset.I lowered it to a 20 percent and I did leave a review , a raving one. She didn't do that for my friend. To this day, I don't know what I did or said that had her give me such awful treatment.Ruin my meal, blame someone else for it.And then finally takes credit for making a mistake all because she was chatting. I'm going back there with my friend in a week.And i'm going to be curious to see if she's working , and what happens. I don't mean Any of you are saying I shouldn't even tip her at all, but I felt bad for her , because she was the only one working at that time on the floor. And having been a server myself years ago I know it's. But I never , ever charged a customer for a mistake that either the kitchen maid or that I had made and trust me , it won't happen again. Maybe she'll even read this review, that would be hilarious.

Best fried pickles in town, no doubt! Also a great place for a club sandwich. The staff have always been quick and super friendly. This is our go-to stop for above average bar food!

Eh, not gonna spend money at a place that doesn’t honor the prices they advertise. As nice as the bartender was, she was new, she could have asked. It’s all good just explains why it’s so dead. Idk where the 4.3 stars come from, no one is in here.

What a great place! Very cool vibe with excellent service! Gal named Bailey perfected a custom (weird) sandwich for me! I’ll definitely be back for more.

First off I love the loose wheel. There’s never ever been an issue there,professionalism has always been through the roof. The atmosphere has always been amazing. Staff normally pleasing inviting very respectful but today. My server was very rude short not engaging. Came off with a superiority complex that left me bothered when I’m the Customer just wanted clarity on how I was being charged . This lady became non-engaging where when she brought me my food, she didn’t ask if I needed any other condiments dropped off her machine for me to pay the bill. Left everything up to me to do rude, rude rude Like I said, I love the establishment, but very disappointed in who they had serving me. Maybe she’s having a bad day. I don’t know, but there was no reason for me to have to experience that type of behavior, especially at a bar.

Ashley has been absolutely fantastic, she made my first experience in loose wheel very welcoming. I will definitely come back because Ashley made me feel so welcomed.

No waiting for seating, foid or yummy drinks. Music not too loud, easy conversations!! Thank you!
