The Melting Pot Reviews
Please be careful at the Tacoma Melting Pot. We ate there yesterday. The server, Claryssa P., added a 20% tip to our bill, did not tell us, and then gladly accepted a $45 cash tip. She ended up with a $80.18 tip on a $135.88 ticket. To say I am pissed is an understatement.
A heartfelt thank you to Darin Wooten at The Melting Pot in Tacoma for your amazing support of Norpoint Soccer Club's Annual Fundraising Auction! Your generosity is making it possible for more kids in our community to enjoy soccer. We’re so thankful to have you on our team!
This location is really nice. They have a parking lot in front of the restaurant. The staff are all really helpful and professional. We usually do the four course dinner for two when we come for a date. Everything is delicious and fresh and the service is always great. Shout out to Darin for being so supportive of local youth soccer programs and giving back to the community. Norpoint Soccer Club is very thankful for your support to buy equipment, uniforms, and soccer balls. 🎉⚽️🥅We...read full review

The Melting Pot is a restaurant that offers a unique and memorable dining experience. The staff is attentive, friendly, and professional, making guests feel welcome and cared for. Vegetarian options are available, including cheese fondues. The restaurant is suitable for families, with servers willing to accommodate children's requests. The meal is a multi-course experience, with each course offering a new and exciting experience. The prices may be higher, but the quality and variety of the food, including excellent salads and high-quality ingredients, make it worth the cost. The restaurant also features a fantastic dessert selection, such as turtle chocolate. While larger groups may find it challenging to agree on a cooking style, a little planning can help. Recent visitors noted that the food and service remain great, with some mentioning that prices, taxes, and surcharges have increased considerably. Guests enjoyed the experience, with some missing the small grill used for meats, but overall everything was excellent. The curated menu, new dishes, and fun dipping and cooking activities make it an exciting outing, especially for special occasions like Mother’s Day. The cocktail options, including a gin and champagne drink poured over cotton candy, and “kids cocktails,” like chocolate milk with ice cream and syrup, add to the enjoyment. The staff, including new team members, continue to do a good job, contributing to a memorable night out for families and friends.
