It feels like a special occasion the moment we walk in the door. The staff is excellent and service is spectacular. Everything fits seamlessly here, from decor to dessert cart... the experience is so much fun. Then there's the food & beverages... unrivaled is the best way to put it. Small bites, salads, full course meals, and anything we could think of from the bar. Champagne is the specialty, and after a conversation with Makaila (the bar tender) she chose the perfect bottle. Oh, getting a bottle of Champagne there is a treat too... trust me, just do it. The wine list is impressive, and the espresso flight is something I'm still telling all my friends about. We've gone with friends several times, and everybody has enjoyed every part of the experience. Check their calendar, some fun stuff happens there. Or better yet, just go there and ask the staff what rhe next few events are while sipping your Champagne!
We recently hosted our company dinner party at the Powder Room Champagne Bar and Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The ambiance was warm and inviting. The trendy interior made for great photo ops and added a touch of fun to our evening. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, providing excellent service with a friendly and professional attitude.
The selection of champagne and cocktails was impressive, and the bartenders were great at recommending drinks that suited everyone’s tastes. The food was equally remarkable – each dish was creatively presented and packed with flavor, leaving our team raving about the meal.
Thank you to the team at the Powder Room for helping us create such a memorable night! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event or simply enjoy a luxurious night out. We can’t wait to come back!"
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The set brunch menu feels like a scam. $35 pp for a choice of entree and then “family style” sides for the table which are served in barely more than a single person serving - salad, potatoes, and biscuits that they bring you fewer than the number of people seated, all of which were average to bad in terms of flavor and presentation. Clearly a way to charge more for the smallest possible amount of food. Additionally, we had a reservation for late afternoon when the restaurant was basically empty - waited 45 minutes with no one taking any kind of order from us and had to get up to ask for a server. They comped us a champagne flight which amounted to approximately one glass of champagne. Lastly, the interior is must be cute to some but looks cheap and tacky to me, especially when you consider the price points they are charging. If they had actually good food for reasonable prices it could be great. What a let down from when it was Gilman House. Save yourself the disappointment and go to literally any other brunch spot in Tacoma.

Had a great time at the Powder Room celebrating a birthday. Food was great. We shared a variety of small plates, two salads and cheese boards. Drinks were tasty. Service was perfect.

Love this month’s fresh sheet. The Braised Veal Roulade was delicious. The way all the flavors work together was amazing. The Shrimp and Polenta entree was incredible as well.

The drinks were great. It's a cute little place in the middle of downtown. The 2 hour mark is perfect for your brunch. Its preferred to have reservations, but we were able to sneak in and get a table quickly. Started to fill up around 1130. The Danish was dry but chewy. Overall we had a good time!

Food and service were good but over priced. DJ was so LOUD! Like clubbing level loud.
Why? It’s brunch. Had to yell for the 1.5hrs we were there.
Our first time here and now that I’ve read other comments it’s obvious the DJ volume didn’t ruin just our brunch.
Really embarrassed I took our guests there.
Very awkward.

The food was overpriced and nasty. Tiny portions and cheap quality steak. Gave us the wrong drinks at first but at least compensated us for it.

Live music, good food. I had the sparkling wine flight and two glasses of prosecco, the scalops on crispy potato in a delicious cream sauce. I ordered extra bread and didnt get it but was charged for it. I had the tiramisu and that was not great. Too cold maybe because it was stiff and dry.
The decor is adorable but the service is middle of the road. I was at a fun event early and I had to wave down service every time from the place being empty to being full and busy. My total bill was 127 with gratuity added for me. Totally fair value because the wine pour and serving sizes were good. Ill give it another try.

Pros: quiet on weeknights, friendly waitresses and great service. Love photo options around, the hidden clothing store. Food was a mix of cheese boards some hispanic/american options. Nothing overtly unique, the descriptions sounded better than it actually tasted, but good serving size and was fresh. Only con was I particularly did not enjoy the alcoholic drink options as much taste and alcohol content lacking. Would come again, great girls night spot.

We originally had planned to only come for drinks, but then we noticed their great menu selections. We ordered the truffle popcorn, cheese board, chicken piccaa, spinach gnocchi, and burrata salad. The food was very tasty! Highly recommend all! Delicious drinks, too, and Makaila was a wonderful server! All around, a great night and atmosphere! We will be back!

Cute little place to grab some drinks. The service was exceptional. Makayla was our server and she was so sweet. Greeted us when we came in, recommended excellent drinks and was nice enough to take photos for us. The experience was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back for brunch.
