The Red Hot is one of Tacoma’s best beer spots. The food is good, great selection of beers, and the service is top notch. Particularly our favorite bartender Elliott, who is such a mensch. They use field roast dogs and lots of options for toppings!! We split our order of a Kommissar & the Goodfellow. But we’re awesome and quick to the table. My hubby also enjoyed the recommend beer. We are driving and RV and didn’t have any trouble parking. Would definitely come back!
The hot dogs are amazing, indeed, the peanut butter and bacon hot dog definitely surprised me (in a really good way), however I have a beef to pick with the fact they advertise hours incorrectly, they do, in fact, close at 11pm, but their kitchen closes at 10pm, knowing that would’ve saved me the trip since I was going for the hot dogs (second time) and got there 10:18pm so no food was served.
