The food and the atmosphere really hit the spot here. My wife gets fish and chips at a lot of places when we travel and she said it’s just better here. But the real star is the salmon pita. Great salmon in a creative combination. Also, the fries were the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Doors and windows open with the sea breeze blowing through give the complete experience of a seaside pub.

I had a great experience at The Spar Tavern. I ordered the beer-battered fish, and it was delicious—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bartender was friendly and made me a fantastic drink that was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Tacoma!

One of the best Live Music venues in Tacoma - Puget Sound area. Service, food abd beverages are outstanding. Quaint part of the city where some of the showroom tables have a great view of the bay.
