The food was unique and delicious! I ordered the pan seared salmon and have not had better anywhere else. The owner/chef was authentic and personable. This was my first time there and I will be going back. Please note - you must make reservations in advance.
We came across this place online on accident and decided to plan a special occasion reservation, my birthday. It was the best decision we could have made. The food was incredible and Chef Shawn stopped by our table multiple times to chat, shake our hands, and wish me happy birthday. It's such a welcoming place with a unique, homey atmosphere. We can't wait to come back!
Right away coming into the place, Chef Tibbitts came and greeted us. He then explained that everything he makes is in house, no microwave, no reheater. The atmosphere of warmth and friendliness adds to the experience. When we looked at the menu and saw only 7 items, it was obvious that each dish is a work of love. The food was phenomenal, and the bread pudding after was amazing. If you are exploring Tacoma, make sure to make a reservation at Tibbitts, you will be more than happy...
