First time visiting! Place is really cool! 10/10 for pancakes! 6/10 for the torta ahogada the bread was too mushy, the pork over salted, and the sauce was not really the one you use for a torta ahogada. Couldn’t eat any of it left all the bread nd pork and still got charged for it. Other than that service was great people were nice and welcoming. Being there took me back to Mexico and my childhood. El Chavo show themes ambiance. My kids were so curious about the set up and dived into their dishes. We had the queso fundido for appetizer. They has kids meals and we tried the torta aojada (wet torta) and the molcajete was full of protein and flavor. The tortilla where made from scratch the way u get them in Mexico. Im definitely going back with my family or a date night.
I had the surf and turf tacos. They were amazing. My husband had a dish with beef, chicken and shrimp in a red sauce that was also wonderful. Will definitely be reforming with family and friends. 4 on the atmosphere because it's odd (to me at least) Great vibe though.
