Hate rating small family business with low stars, but everything about our experience was low. Right when we walked in we had to awkwardly find a table in the restaurant after one of the employees just looked at us and pointed to a table.Everything inside felt musty, smelled bad (not like a reg pho or Vietnamese restaurant), & the floor was so slippery & dirty. They did not check in with us at all until about 10 minutes after we sat down…The pho was undeniably bland (I got the Chicken Pho, Spouse got the Beef Pho). It just tasted like instant soup powder with hardly any spices. The chicken in it was grilled chicken & ruined the already terrible soup. You could also tell they used bad tap water to make the soup because it gave it a weird after taste..Vien Dong could make many improvements, as they seem to be very connected to the community. We visited because we were in the area & saw a video on IG about it, but it was such a let down. Maybe it was just a bad day?

Although the waiter was very nice to us, this is about all I can say that was positive. This place also didn't strike me as very clean. Unfortunately, food here disappointed us. Couldn't finish our meal. Boneless grilled chicken turned out to be an undercooked chicken breast. Egg rolls didn't taste good.On the bright side, chicken pho was okay.

Very fast service once seated, popular place during lunch, reasonable prices for serving size of pho, highly recommended. Definitely a repeat, servers were very polite and attentive. Had 7a medium, very delicious reminded me of Vietnam.

Forever will be my family and i’s favorite pho place. We’ve been going to Viet Dong since we moved to WA in 2017/2018 and it has always been amazing. Unfortunately we moved to Georgia and the last day we were in WA they were at their daughters UW graduation. We miss you Kevin! Hope to visit WA and eat at the best pho place! I recommend trying the lemon grass chicken and well done brisket pho :)

Vien Dong is a personal favorite of mine, and is basically a staple in my diet. I go every Friday with my mother, and have for about a year so far. And honestly? I can't eat Pho anywhere else anymore. The broth is pure magic. You can taste the love and attention that goes into every delicious bite of food. They love their customers, and have their usuals memorized (If they have one, anyway! Everything is SO delicious). And did I mention affordable? You can eat like a king without breaking the bank! And even if the restaurant is packed, the service is still incredibly quick. Such a beautiful restaurant, run by a lovely group of people. If you're like me and so many other people, you'll probably become a regular too. Give it a try. You deserve it.
