Food was just not my cup of tea. I’m sure it’s someone’s though.

I had heard about Waffle Stop for quite a while and was looking forward to trying it.I figured especially that they'd have great waffles. I found the food to be bland at best, small portions, and in particularl the waffle sucked. I was looking forward to something , perhaps light and fluffy , but it was really dense and very doughy, like it wasn't cooked all the way. Very disappointing meal. A waste of money.

Ridiculously kind staff here, Monica is incredibly friendly and amazing. I visited three times during a stay in Tacoma. The waffles were my go-to but the eggs, sausage, and fruit bowl were all fresh and delicious as well. Great comfort food and really hit the spot every time. I hope to visit again!

Seriously, one of the best waffle options you will find! They have tons of great breakfast and lunch menu options. It is a bit on the pricier side, so it’s not a common occurrence for me. However, if I’m feeling generous, this is my to go place! Lovely workers And plenty of seating. However, when it is busy- It is very busy and you might have to join a waitlist. I usually don’t mind this, but know that you will most likely be very close to other dining.

The food was good, but what truly made our visit enjoyable was Nicole. Even though she was assisting our main server, she went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. She made thoughtful recommendations, and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken, the Pearl Sugar Waffle, and the Nutella Strawberry Banana Waffle. All of which were delicious. I also got the Brown Sugar Cardamom Latte to go, and it was the perfect finish to the meal.

Customer service means a lot to me, and Nicole’s genuine care and attention made a lasting impression. Thanks to her, we truly enjoyed our time at Waffle Stop. I’ll definitely be back!

Sat around with my family on a slow day for 20 minutes, couldnt get help or water or anything. Manager seemed all over the place as staff looked at her in confusion. Not sure whats happening, we waited and asked for help but kept getting ignored. We got up and left after they ruined our morning and somehow managed to stomp on the only business they had. There was like 8-10 employees too! Not one paying attention to customers

My $10 breakfast turned into $18.99 for 2 cups of Black tea. The tea lacked potency and didnt brew as it should've which tells me the tea is old. The food system doesn't really make sense here price wise and I was robbed for expired tea.

Waffle Stop has been our go-to breakfast place since it opened! I’ve been dining here since it opened in 2018, and prefer the Proctor location over the Silverdale property. I’ve chatted with the manager and many of the staff when visiting the establishment. The service is NOT what it used to be. Our server, Gentry K (from our receipt), was terrible. She was messy, dripping drinks down her hands as she walked them towards the corresponding table. They were sloshing around and leaving a drippy trail as she walked. She did this with all of her tables the morning we were in. Then setting them on the table, leaving the customers with a wet glass and a wet table, and no offer of cleaning it up. She seemed uninterested to actually provide excellent service rather rushing our table through with lack of eye contact or care. She entered our order incorrectly ending with runny eggs and whip cream piled high on the dish- when holding the whip cream to avoid as much extra dairy was requested. When we went to checkout, we left a tip though not a good one as the service was terrible, food incorrect (which another person needed to check on us from the kitchen-she was told but didn’t offer to correct the dishes). Back in my serving days, I’d like to say the person who helped us was the Expo. She scoffed at our tip and then left abruptly with a glare. Just rude!
