Everything was wonderful! The food was incredible, I am still thinking about that handmade strawberry (?) jam. The customer service was also top notch despite a busy morning. We will definitely be back next time we're in Tacoma!

Saturday morning we stopped in and was seated immediately! Great service was provided by lynnea, very attentive and friendly! Food came in great portions and very delicious, which i think they shop local which makes me even happier to support the business. Definitely stop in and give them a try (:

I’ve came here a couple times with some friends but today was a complete different experience. Enough for me to leave a review and file a police report. My ID is old and was peeling a little from the corner and when I tried to order a drink the waitress said she’d ask her manager if it was fine, to be denied of a drink is fine but to bring my ID back completely pulled apart and unusable is crazy. And I mean completely pulled the film off my ID. I check ID’s at my current job for 5 years and have never once done this. When I asked to speak the manager who was around 50, Bertha Greene, she said she should’ve confiscated it (which is illegal) and called the police on me for having a fake. When I told her to do that she wouldn’t do it. Unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t know how to check ID’s properly. I won’t be coming here again and I hope Waffle Stop gets better management.

Waffle Stop serves up some truly delicious food that really hit the spot! My family and I were thoroughly impressed with the quality. Seating is limited, so if you're coming with a larger group, it's best to call ahead.
I enjoyed two mimosas and the Southern Waffle, while my wife had the Cheesecake Waffle, and our son loved his Kid’s Waffle.
The only reason I’m not giving a full five-star rating is that the portion sizes are a bit small. Other than that, it’s a solid 4-star experience! Plus, the environment felt very safe and welcoming.

Best waffle I've ever had! Blueberry lemon waffle... To die for. The restaurant itself is just a typical little diner style, its clean, the service was fine. But the waffle was so worth the stop (and calories!)!
