Very delicious food you could taste the flavors of vegetables. They were also very helpful on which dishes could be made as vegan. The Price is on higher side.

My usual Thai place was closed and I was hoping to find a good alternative.
Ordered on our way to the place by phone, so didn’t check the menu-I regret it. Severely overpriced. Two orders of pad Thai, two orders of spring rolls and crab wontons for $104. I asked for Thai hot and it was not hot at all. It’s absolutely frustrating. Crab wontons were alright. Not only is it overpriced, they weren’t even close with the level of spice. It’s not worth it in my opinion. Got takeout Sunday evening and it was dead. Never have I paid a lot of money for Thai food.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We came in about an hour before closing and ended up being there about half an hour after closing (we felt pretty guilty about being there so late) but they NEVER made us feel rushed in our experience. The atmosphere was phenomenal, everyone we talked to was incredibly sweet, and the food is hands down the best Thai food in Tacoma (or that I've personally ever had). Will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone!

Some of the best Thai we've ever had. Cozy and comfortable spot, not fussy at all. Good portions of very tasty food at reasonable prices. We will be back soon!

Been occasionally coming by here since 2007 it's where I had my before prom dinner with friends. Recently I've been back after my friend's wedding. This is a nice and relaxing restaurant as always.
It's clean, visually unique, the food is exquisite, and the owner is very nice.
The Wild Orchid is a very lovely restaurant. Period

So glad we stopped in for dinner on a beautiful. From the moment we walked in, we were very well taken care of. We had the 7 flavors beef, Bangkok wings and Mongolian beef (not pictured) and a side of rice. The presentation of everything was just a great as the food. The flavors were exquisite! Our meal was made fresh and lacked absolutely nothing. The vibe/energy was chill and relaxed. Overall we were happy with our experience and will definitely come back to indulge.

Inconsistent is the word that fits this place. I haven’t been here for a couple of years, but the past 2 times were amazing. They were running on a shoestring staff this dinner service, with just the chef and server, on a slow Tuesday night but only 6 tables were seated. My first dish, the Green Curry Seafood, was amazing. Not only was the presentation good, the seafood was moist and flavorful just the way I like it (not overcooked and rubbery), the vegetables were slightly firm and flavorful, but soft enough to not feel like they were raw. And the chef hit it my target for spice perfectly for my 1 star - slight heat without it being too spicy to overpower for the delicate flavors of the seafood. The 2nd dish (Rama Noodles) was a disappointment. Way too many noodles with not enough sauce, hardly any spinach, a tiny bit of broccoli, and a few sliced carrots, all in all it felt like such a cheap dish for the $18.95 price tag. At least the chicken wasn’t too overcooked. By the way, their jasmine rice came in a sticky pyramid, it was so sticky that I had to ask if I received the right rice (they have sticky rice and jasmine rice). But I did like the Rama sauce, it wasn’t too thick, and it had a great balance of both heat and peanuts.

Shared a beautiful, thoughtful and absolutely wonderful meal with my husband and two daughters tonight.
The service was timely and so kind.
The atmosphere was inviting, cozy, and intimate, with personal details and touches throughout.
This was our first time dining here, and we will definitely be back. It’s our new favorite place to be together.
I hope this restaurant gets the business it highly deserves.
