The Wandering Goose was located just blocks from where we used to live. My child missed it, particularly the biscuits and delicious raspberry freezer jam. We decided to take a day trip and managed to arrive just in time for the last seating for lunch. (I would recommend a reservation for busier days.) The food is still delicious. The rockfish and grits were amazing, the drinks were phenomenal. The desserts are great, all of the portion sizes were good. Beautiful location, family friendly, probably one of my favorite restaurants.
A hidden gem in a beautiful hotel filled with character and ambience. The food is fresh, clean and delicious. The entire staff take pride in their work and are a cohesive team providing the guests with a memorable experience. I simply loved my visit here and plan to return.
