There is not a lot happening in Twisp, Washington and you can drive through town in the blink of an eye on your way to the North Cascades. Furthermore, road trip food gets increasingly sparse and depressing unless you like processed meat and burgers. Well--Yelp to the rescue! This food truck "The Fork" was such a pleasure to find. The seven people on my road trip were excited to try it out despite their initial disbelief that there would be an ethnic food truck serving Sri Lankan food in the Twisp-Winthrop corridor. It really doesn't make any logical sense. To cut to the chase: the portions were large and the food itself very tasty. The people were also super nice. I liked it enough that I wish there was something like this where I live. If I am ever up in this neck of woods again, I will make a special trip to eat here. I wish the Fork crew all of the success in the world!

I don't usually write online reviews, but had to for this one. I've had a lot of curries in my life (all in the States) and Lal's chicken and broccoli curries are the best I've ever had. I've never had a "bad" curry, but these are the best. I love the coconut milk base and the spice is just right. I can tell that good care and quality went into making these. I'll be back!

Amazing food and service with a smile! We really enjoyed meet both Lal and trying multiple items from the menu. We got the Loins Share w 5 different curries, the samosas both veggie and beef, and the roti w excellent hot sauce. All of it was excellent and legitimate! They also have nice picnic tables under a shade trees where you can enjoy your meal. Can't wait to come back!
They cater to food allergies! We tried the samosas, curry pork, rice, French fries and everything was delicious. Honestly, an out-of-the-box choice to have the best French fries ever, but it's true. My 8-year-old with food allergies said, "there's magic in the rice." Whatever the spice dip is for the samosas is so good.

Consistently unique in the monthly curries. Lal definitely cares about providing unique curry dishes to the valley. Keep on keeping on. It’s also nice to have another culturally diverse cuisine option in a small rural region of the US.
