“What can I say? Ubiquitous pretzel snack place that is found in malls all across the land. I have always had a good snack from them, and the pretzels are always soft and reasonably fresh. It is the best place in the mall to get something to eat when you don't want a full meal or can't wait for food.“

“This is a very sweet family owned cafe and used book shop. They have a decent selection of food (including multiple gluten free options options!), traditional coffee drinks plus some extras like champurrado! There are couches for hanging and it's usually really quiet. Definitely some religious overtones to the book selection, buy also plenty of secular fiction and nonfiction.“
“The huckleberry scones are delicious! The berries adding both sweetness and moisture to the buttery scones. First time having huckleberries in a baked good and I'm now a fan. Ahtanum Bakery is adjacent to their berry patch in Yakima. Because of the climate, they harvest strawberries, blueberries, huckleberries and Marion berries right through the fall. They have a a u-pick field or you can buy the berries already picked. Every year they participate in the Hood River Valley Harvest festival in October. People remember them and line up for the massive cinnamon rolls, hand pies, scones, pies, decorated sugar cookies and other delectables. Oh, and fresh berries!Prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. These are not mass produced, but made in small batches with fresh ingredients and love.“

“I stopped by here while in town for work and grabbed some English muffins and an original loaf, and WOW! I have never had better GF English muffins in my life, they truly taste like the real thing. The original loaf is also delicious. Already placing another order. The owner was also so kind and helpful when I stopped by! I'll be coming back here every time I'm in Yakima and I even have my parents hooked on this GF bakery as my mom is GF too!“

I went into this bakery for the first time a few weeks ago, since it was recommended for me for their cakes and I was not disappointed.To begin with, the cakes are kind of pricey, at least for the tres leches. However, the flavor of the cake definitely justified the price. The cake was moist but not overly saturated. It was just the right amount of sweet for me (I don't like overly sweet foods), and the sizes seem to be big enough to allow for the cake to be completely gone without waste, at least that was the case for me.The store itself is crowded, and the parking lot is small, cramped, and difficult to navigate getting in and out, but those were minor issues for me.“

“Went specifically for the conchas and wasn't disappointed. They were SO DELICIOUS. I haven't had a fresh concha in over 15 years and it was just as amazing as I remember. I would go back often but it was a 4 hour drive to get there. Excited to go back again when I can.“
