I decided to treat myself to a breakfast out on a Sunday morning. It was 9. I thought they'd be packed. They were not, although people came in after me. I ordered the corned beef hash. Very prompt service. Very generous portion. I had to take part of it home.
I visited the Pine Cone from Texas a couple of weeks ago. I love a good breakfast spot and this seemed to be a local favorite. I went in the middle of the work week, so it was not crowded at all. There is a sign that says to wait to be seated so I stood there a few moments until another patron said I could choose my own seat. The service was great and my coffee cup stayed full. I ordered the cherry almond poppy seed pancakes and good grief it was so big it could have fed my whole...
I didn't want to tell anyone. I want to keep the Pine Cone to myself. PLEASE whatever you do, if you do experience this Diamond 💎 in the rough. Don't tell anyone. Please. Beware the French toast and the Corned beef. It's addictive.
