Tried Baron Patisserie for the first time today and loved it. I came just before 9am and everything was pretty much sold out except for some fruit danishes- I got one of every flavor and they were delicious! I appreciated that the cherry and apple danish didn’t have cream, so i could enjoy them and my family enjoyed the others. The pastry was fresh, flaky, and not greasy or overly buttery- so far some of the best pastry dough I’ve found here in Vancouver. I appreciate that...
Update: Finally got to try them. I called ahead in a week day and they were open. Yes, these croissants are wonderful, possibly the best in Vancouver. Original review: Call ahead before going. I live 8 minutes away. Every time I have tried to go they are either sold out or decided not to open that day. I guess I'm just unlucky. At least I didn't waste too much time.
