very happy to see that you guys are closed due to the air quality being horrible. Everyone who works here are always super sweet and amazing! Hands down the best location in Vancouver ❤️?

Very good, but unreasonably priced. For that reason alone, I don’t come here as often as I otherwise would.

Used to be a huge fan of blackrock. For the longest time they were one of the few spots to not charge extra for nondairy milk…Now, the prices are just insane. $8+ for a medium almond milk latte is just exorbitant. It’s a shame. Making Starbucks look like a bargain.

They consistently provide good coffee, and they understand what "Light ice" means. I haven't had a bad coffee from this location. My typical order is unusual, and this is the only black rock location that can make it correctly and to my liking. Customer service is 10/10.

The gal taking our order was polite (not friendly but not rude) but there was a guy behind her that was extremely rude for no apparent reason (big guy with curly hair). It was our first time at black rock in 5 years but a friend suggested it so we thought we’d try it out again. For us this was a one and done. There are dozens of other coffee places and others are closer to us. I would rather go somewhere else, I didn’t place my order with a side of grumps. As for the food, one of my kids loved the almond croissant but the other food items were inedible. One sando was burnt and too hard to bite. After finding out they are deliberately anti-pride and anti-equality as a company, we won’t be returning to any locations. (Why even advertise that? I want my order without a low-down on narrow minded beliefs either.) Save your time and go elsewhere, pick a place that will smile and chat casually in a regular friendly way.

I love Black Rock Coffee. It really is delicious. The atmosphere and customer service in this location leave a lot to be desired. The menu is in small print high on the back wall of the food prep area and is very difficult to read. The music is very loud so it's difficult to hear and be heard when ordering (a challenge if you are ordering a coffee drink with an unusual name and specific details). The staff seem bothered. The [dining] area is pleasant and modern. As with many places on Mill Plain Blvd, getting to the store can sometimes be a challenge due to lights, left turns, u-turns, etc. That said, drive through might be a good option.

Staff are very friendly and the coffee is great but I'm giving 3 stars because I had a recent run in with a barista who was extremely rude. We asked if they had any pride drinks (as we ask every coffee shop) and instead of saying a kinda "no, we do not" she was very disrespectful and short with us with a hard "No" and judgemental look. Once our drinks were payed for and handed to us (both drinks were not as we ordered them) she stated "Black Rock doesn't support pride we're a Christian company". Please teach your employees proper customer service. If you do not agree with someone's lifestyle you can still be respectful. Society needs positivity and respect, not negativity and crudeness.
