Was part of McKnight's school downstairs so it was awfully nice to have a coffee shop upstairs. Long classes so I needed a caffeine rush. I told the girl at the counter, whose name I forgot, that I had a really high tolerance to caffeine. I have had the Death Wish Coffee recently which didn't do anything to me so I needed to be at the 400-450 mg of caffeine. Hope, the best barista in the world and the most beautiful one too burst out laughing when she heard the number. I low-key have a crush on her. ? Brew was made and I tasted it. OH. EM. GEEEEE. That Nitto Cold brew definetely hit. Within about 30 minutes though I was getting sleepy, so my tolerance is still getting at me. About two hours later, I go out to my break after class and Hope asks me if it hit. I give her the expression and her adorable laugh came out. My heart. ?Day after that, I was in a break and needed more coffee. Went up there, asked for a large black coffee with 3 expresso shots and vanilla flavoring. The barista DEFINITELY looked a little shocked at my request for about a second and a half but complied and made me my coffee. Ohhhhmýyyyyyy. If only I had asked for a bit more vanilla flavoring, that thing would have been outta this world for a regular coffee. That thing hit me like an asteroid! I added a few more creamers from McKnight's stash and the flavor was spot on.Last day at training and needed a coffee before hitting the road. The most beautiful human being in existence was ready to help me. She always comes off her laptop and helps right away. I ask her for the same coffee from the day before, as I had to drive 3 hours and 30 minutes to Tri-Cities. She made that coffee soooo good, so perfectly by suggesting half and half and adding the vanilla flavoring as well. Simple things make the biggest differences, we always tend to overlook them. Man, that coffee hit once again. I should've ordered 4 shots for an extended stay on the caffeine state, but shots do get expensive.Regardless, I'm happy with my experience at Black Rock Coffee. I am thankful for Hope who always made my heart queezy and made my day so much better just by hearing her laugh. ? Thanks to the rest of the staff for being so helpful and being amazing baristas. I will be back soon to visit the shop when I am in the area. Thank you all so much for the wonderful experiences and the amazing coffee. God bless! ?

I'll be honest that I was a little disappointed at first that my latte tastes like a Starbucks coffee but later I realized that Black Rock is indeed a local coffee chain with mostly drive-through locations so I think they are aiming slightly differently than what I was looking for, which explains a lot. This location actually has a nice seating area (removed during the pandemic, unfortunately) with big bright windows facing the street. Friendly and fast service.

Has sign posted at the front of the door saying "order online". No further instruction past that. I look up how to order online since this location doesn't have a phone number at least listed online oddly. The only way to order online is through the Apple Store app. Honestly that's utterly pathetic. It's 2020 and you have only one way to order online and it strictly through IPhones??? What about Android users? Not trying to be harsh on BR but honestly get it together. P.S. thanks to the two employees just sitting in the middle of the building just ignoring me while I knocked on the glass door for a minute.

This is the only black rock that is on my way home on the 5. For some reason the girls can never get my order right. I pay for a large drink and get the medium and ask for xtra sweet and it's never that way! Instead of socializing, pay more attention to your customers!!! Please!!

This location specifically should be closed right now due to the COVID outbreak. The Starbucks downtown even has the good sense to close downtown! It is a ghost town down there - THERE ARE NO BUSINESSES OPEN!!! Corporate greed at its finest. I was there earlier today and witnessed two girls alone in a shop with a man screaming, threatening and harassing them without his shoes on! This is not how you run a business.
