I only go to the bar regularly for the free chips w/ salsa & savory beans (sometimes guac at an xtra charge) and frozen Smithers. I rate this one experience as an overall three. Most of my experiences have been wonderful. After asking the bartender if she could put a particular football game on the tv at the bar, she said she could. After waiting over 20-minutes, I gave up and left. She never provided any explanation as to why she did not change the channel. I would have had no problem if she didn’t change the channel because other folks at the bar wanted to watch another game.
We used to love coming to Cactus Yaya with friends but they moved away and we had not been in YEARS before tonight…imagine our complete delight to learn that it is still family-owned, the food & drinks are still just as amazing as we remembered, and the service was spectacular - thank you, Ashley!!! We shared our old classic favorites (halibut fish tacos & steak salad) - which were quite possibly even better than we recalled - and the best (Nuclear) margaritas we have...
