If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience — for all the wrong reasons — this is the place. The food had a stench so powerful it could be weaponized. The floor was a slip-and-slide of grease, the tables were decorated with yesterday’s leftovers, and the utensils looked like they hadn’t been washed since last year. As a final touch of horror, I found a bug floating in my soup. It was less of a meal and more of a biological experiment gone wrong. Avoid at all costs — unless you’re feeling dangerously adventurous.

The atmosphere is so bad you wonder if they’re even open. Every time I’ve been in here the lights are off… assuming that’s to save on the electric bill. There was no one else eating there just a group of people chit chatting at an empty table. Typically when I go to Indian I have the option to order a meal that comes with small sides of curries, chutneys, and soup. The place is called chutneys but they don’t offer it to you. Order 2 mains which comes with rice only… boring. So I ordered 2 drinks, 2 sides I didn’t even know if I would like and 2 naans… nearly $80 before tip for 2 people… and they can’t even turn the lights on… needless to say, I got up and left without eating there. It’s a shame because I have had their food before and it’s delicious. But for that price I expect more… their nearby competitors are much better.

Unfortunately, our experience was severely marred by a critical error. Despite informing staff about our vegetarian requirements, the owner/manager served chilli chicken, mislabeling it as a paneer dish. This was especially disappointing given their Swaminarayan menu claim. The lack of attention to detail led to a very bad experience and hurted our religious beliefs.

Good food friendly service but not a great variety.

We’ve been coming here for the buffet on occasion over the years and sometimes for dinner. The little market to one side as you enter is currently not there. The food seems to be more watered down now. There was no tandoori chicken while we ate in the buffet, and there were a number of people having a meeting, but not eating and it made us wonder are there two menus because it’s not the same quality it used to be.

I love Indian food. This place does a great job. Give it a try. I was passing through town and this place popped up on a Google search. It is very unassuming. If I am ever in the area again, I will be sure to give Chutneys my business again.

Great food options, excellent flavors, good location and reasonably priced with good size portions. Love their lamb korma, tikki masala, naan, samosas are good size and yummy, delicious mango lassi, chai tea, just to name a few items. Its all good! Been there many times over years, specially for celebrations. Service has always been good. Sometimes can get busy for dinner on weekends, but not too bad.

I am so happy we live so close because the food in my opinion is delicious. I don't even know what I'm ordering half the time but I'm not afraid to try new things here. Everything i do know has been great and everything I don't has also been good. I can't bring myself to try goat meat or lamb or whichever but maybe some day when I have extra cash, incase I don't like it. Otherwise in my opinion I definitely recommend chutneys Indian restaurant. They staff is super friendly and the vibe is super comfy. I've eaten at a handful of Indian restaurants so I'm no expert but l like food alot and am pretty picky but flavor wise yum and the sauces are all great. Hope this helps.

I was so pleased with the luncheon buffet - so many great vegetarian options. My husband will be back for the quantity of a naan alone.

Probably won’t be going back to Chutneys. The first time I ate there I got the Tandoori Chicken and it was pretty good, so I went back a 2nd time about a month later, and ordered the Tandoori Chicken again. The 1st time it had no bones. The 2nd time it was mostly bones. The bones were all different shapes and sizes. Some of the bones were sharp, and there were many small bone fragments. It was almost inedible, and luckily I had ordered it to go, so I was not in public while I chiseled away the meat from the bones and continually spit out small chunks of hard bone. If I wasn’t as hungry as I was I would not have eaten it, and afterwords I felt very dissatisfied with the whole experience. I don’t understand why they would serve food like that.
