Super cute coffee shop, went for the matcha because Vancouver is definitely lacking and I have seen positive reviews. Unfortunately, this is OK for Vancouver, but definitely not good in general. I got the banana matcha, they made it less sweet as per my request, and it was good in that regard. The matcha quality however is not and they batch it. The matcha is literally premade in a squirt bottle. 2/5 for Vancouver 0/5 for pdx
place is cute, asked for my iced matcha with simple syrup and it tastes just like zero calorie sweeter which is nasty (I know the difference between sugar and stevia or other zero cal sweeteners)...barista just wanted to get the drink over with...matcha was made in a blender? not necessarily awfully weird just a strange way of making matcha. Overall the matcha is not good and I payed like $8 for it to taste mid....and ive been to every other locations and they were great this...
