My parents and I have gone since I was little, I didn’t know Spanish back then (No sabo kid lol) and I liked hearing my mom speak Spanish to the cashier, who was kind and patient when I was trying to order in Spanish not too long ago. I would say the huevos rancheros and the restaurant holds a special place in my heart. Plus, it’s one of the only places where the agua de horchata doesn’t taste purely of canela haha. ♥🌞

This place is close to my house and never fails for a quick meal when the mood strikes. This is definitely more of a plate restaurant than a burrito joint; you'll have a much better time if you just order a combo plate, dine in, and enjoy the robust salsa bar. Seasonal specials like the champurada put Don Pedro over as one of the best Mexican restaurants in Hazel Dell.

$15 for a small breakfast burrito and a med drink is just wack. No fountian drink should be above 2.50, $4 is way too much. And almost $10 for a burrito thats the size of a can of coke?!??! The food is good but the prices are getting out of hand.
