Slammed the 32oz. PORTER by my lonesome. A few asked if it could be done, but let's not get too cute. I knew it was only a matter of time before the meat sweats would ensue. It was delicious. Cooked perfectly, and entertainment for the rest of the crew. I was offered a flaming sword, but I declined. My reward was steak, delirium, and a deep sleep that night.

We told our sever several times that the martinis were not prepared well, we wanted them extra cold. He agreed that they were not prepared well, but did not comp us drinks , even after we complained again on the 2nd round. Our steaks and sides were not up to par either. We go to Gaucho once a month and this time very disappointing, plus it was a birthday celebration but we didn’t even get a birthday dessert. I don’t think we will be back.

El Gaucho in Vancouver did a beautiful job helping us celebrate my son‘s birthday. Rose petals, custom menus, a complimentary champagne toast and a signed birthday card. The food was awesome and the service was impeccable. Thank you El Gaucho!

It was an excellent experience from entering the restaurant to our exit. Everyone was friendly and welcoming! Martin was a fantastic host. He is knowledgeable and professional. He made drinks and food recommendations that we appreciated and answered all our questions thoroughly without hesitation. The food was delicious and well-presented. We will be back!

Certainly lives up to El Gaucho name! A must-go for the premier PNW steakhouse experience. The quality of service is what makes it truly exceptional.Only reason for the 4 star rating is the restroom situation. You need to go out through the hotel lobby, and they weren't particularly clean or maintained well. Odd experience for an otherwise amazing restaurant.

We have been fans of el Gaucho Tacoma and Portland for a decade. I am also a Revelers Club member. We were very excited to try the Vancouver location. My husband made a reservation for last weekend for my surprise birthday party. The reservation was made a week before for 12 people. 20 minutes before our reservation time, when our guests started to arrive, my husband got a call from the restaurant letting him know that THEY DECIDED to put our party in a private room so that will cost us $300. We were in a car so it ruined the surprise as i could hear the conversation. Also my husband let them know that we didn’t book nor wanted a private room. He was told we had to take it or lose our reservation after our guests were already there. That has ruined the whole experience and we didn’t really recover the mood. I do have to give big kuddos to Scott, our server. He was very professional, helpful, and had very good menu recommendations. Food was good, however the portions are very small. Some of our leftovers were also thrown away instead of being boxed. We will not be returning to this location.
Gabrielle was a tremendous server, she deserves many kudos. She was an excellent representation of the resturant and what one expects at a top tier place such as El Gaucho....excellent food and enjoyment.

Overall, it's a really great steak house, but for what you pay, you kinda expect everything to be top notch. One of our sides was pretty under cooked, and the bananas foster was just OK. The El Gaucho private label wine was really good though, and our steaks were great. The atmosphere and location are wonderful.

The servers were amazing. It was my daughter's birthday and they went above and beyond by presenting her with a birthday card the entire staff signed, as well as, adding Happy Birthday on her dessert plate with powdered coco. I absolutely love the staff here at El Gaucho Vancouver!
