We arrived early around 12:30. ( Mother's Day) I wasn't sure if our reservation was under my wife's or mother in law. Lady Hostess (older chubby blonde lady) kept interrupting me in the middle of my sentence. Very abrupt and short. She was also abrupt when I asked about Valet parking. Our server was GREAT! Returned after our meal to the same hostess to ask about where we might pick up our vehicle from valet... again rude and abrupt. I don't think customer...
Gray's is located in the Vancouver Hilton, across from Esther Short Park. The kitchen rates with the best in Vancouver. For dining at midday, make sure to pick a Holiday, when the chef prepares a special meal. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Short staffed will long waits. There were events going on in the hotel but didn't seem prepared for the number of people. They only sat about half the tables and still had long waits.
