This place was excellent and the wait staff so friendly and informative. They gave us several tips off the menu and each were superb (German pancakes dipped in fondue with sausage! And the chocolate mouse amazing). Very willing to make substitutions to the menu. Would love to eat here again
I stop at Gustav's every year after my brow appointment. I always get an appetizer and a drink before heading home. I love this place. From food to service to ambiance, it keeps me coming back. I wish our location in Keizer hadn't of closed :(
Gustav's is one our absolute favorites. The cheese fondue is extremely tasty and I order mine with a sausage and my wife enjoys it with bread. For dinner I order 2 or 3 sausages and the warm potato salad and sauerkraut (sp?) which are to die for. The business folded a few years ago and a local restaurateur bought it, cleaned it up, and re-opened the business under the same name. Thank goodness! It is an icon on the East side of Vancouver, WA. Dang! Already ate dinner...
