Sadly they were out of the entire reason we went there- the meat buns. Tried the Crispy Wonton and Shu Mai and they just weren't that great. Iced tea had a really strange taste too. Decided against ordering anything else and left.

This place is adorable and I want to love it but the food is so hit or miss. Their steamed pork buns are always amazing but their chicken wings, for example, taste like a block of salt. I have had their orange chicken several times. It is always a roll of the dice on which version of orange chicken I get. It is as if there are 2 cooks who use separate methods or recipes. I'm not sure what's going on there but consistency of flavor is an issue here. Tonight my delivery order had wings that I had to throw away because their salt content made them inedible. The restaurant offered to replace the item but that isn't a sufficient solution since I would then have to double pay delivery costs and tip. Of course, per usual, Uber Eats was zero help. Their favorite game to play is pass the buck. All i was looking for was a simple refund for the wings. Apparently that was an inconvenience to both Uber and Hap Steam tonight. What a great way to make a customer feel appreciated! ???

Great for late travelers leaving PDX and not wanting McDonald's, Taco Bell, or diners like Shari's.Food is tasty, was served at the right temperature and portion size. Incredible Banh Mi for $8 (as of this writing). Got charged for an order we never even received. Said there’s a location in Gresham, and prompts you to Vancouver website (I should’ve verified that on my end). Called to cancel order, they said that was fine. Yet still didn’t cancel the charge. Luckily my credit card credited me.

We stopped by for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised by a great dining experience. The customer service was top-notch. When we asked about different dishes, the owner(?) patiently answered our questions.We had three dishes with several sauces and all were fresh and delicious.We will go again when we're in the area.

The food was not good at all. I ordered orange chicken and rice and the meat was chewy felt like it was old food microwaved. The portions are really small for the price you might as well just buy frozen food and microwave it at home.

We ordered takeout from this place and it just arrived. I ordered the vegan egg rolls which looked great on the menu and the one vegan dish that they have. What was delivered was 4 pre-made Costco veggie egg rolls and a small dish of the shredded tofu.The 4 tiny egg rolls were $8, so was the small portion of shredded tofu. Absolutely not worth it.

When we walked in, I could feel the frustration of the people there. I knew we should've walked out. But I'm pregnant and the craving was strong so we stayed, hopeful. The cash machine was beeping loudly, and to pay, I had to enter my card information into the employees phone. As i was doing this she had multiple messages come through and even a phone call. There was fast paced loud aggressive music playing. We asked one man how long he'd been waiting. He said 40 min. I was very surprised to see he had such a small order. The food was cold, and the mochi we ordered was frozen solid. I asked if there were supposed to be like that. The lady took them and put them in the microwave. We waited a good 15 minutes for them. When she brought them out, they were a melted mess. I asked if they were supposed to be like that and she said yes. We couldn't even get them off the paper to eat them. We showed the employee and she wanted to replace our three ruined mochi with one frozen one. We cut our losses and walked out. Sad womb and all.

I literally stood there until some other employee acknowledged me. Over $30 order spent and treated like shit during pick up. Do better.

Very clean and super friendly staff. Food was to die for. 10/10 try it out.
Been here twice and it is pretty good but could improve in some areas. The food itself is great and they have a wide variety of dumplings. The soup dumplings are great. The boba drinks are good and the boba has a great texture which lots of places get wrong. The only complaint I have is we ordered a tea online and were told it was not available once we went to pick it up. Strange they would have it on their menu then act like they haven’t heard of it. We were given a different drink of course, but not what we wanted and that was the reason we came in the first place.TL;DR: order their food it is great. Don’t order the crème brûlée milk tea because you won’t get it.
