☕ The Portal is an absolute gem. While tucked away in a neighborhood near Evergreen High and Clark College (which serves Jebale Coffee), it is well worth finding.
The lavender coffee is perfect—smooth and never bitter. Their food is delicious, and the staff's passion for the story behind their beans is worth asking about (just try to catch them when they aren't too busy!).

I was here at 2pm on a Saturday with a friend. What a great open yet cozy space: fireplace, windows, artwork, a friendly and talented barista. If I lived closer this would be a usual hangout for me. Our coffee drinks were just right. Lucky neighborhood to have this place in it.

The menu offers a great variety of both coffee and tea, and I especially love that they have decaf/caffeine-free tea options. The space is bright, open, and has wonderful natural lighting, making it an ideal place to read a book or work quietly.
