Wow, how this place has gone to crap. We used to go here about twice a year when we had guests in town who enjoyed the food here. It's always been a bit pricey, but our last trip here on 8/23 the cost to eat was outrageous. One taco dinner plate was $17, and to add another was $9 more dollars! Now this would be okay if the dinner was plated well and the portions were plentiful, but NO. Refried beans and rice took up 3/4 of the plate. The chicken tasted like it was the frozen bagged kind you get at Costco, dry and tough when eaten. On top of that, they had ZERO air conditioning. The place was sweltering hot inside. There were no signs or anything alerting patrons that something was wrong with it. When I asked if the AC was broken, the waiter stated he had told his boss over a week ago that it was not working. If we would have known, we would have left for sure. They could have gotten fans or something to at least move some air. There were also a lot of fly's flying around. I was continently swatting them away from the table. They landed on my food multiple times... gross!!!

All in all, we won't go here again. Prices too high, and food was terrible. It's unfortunate because the staff were lovely and considerate, but this place is trying to pull the wool over people's eyes, charging as if they're fine dining when they're not. The food cart across the street makes much more tasty and better quality Mexican food than this place. I'd recommend that all day instead of here.

I know this place is cliché, but I don't care. I always have a good time. The service is good, food is consistent and those giant margaritas are always good.

It's overpriced and not that great to tell you the truth. Given, I went here before it was a chain, and was some crummy hole in stripmall (which I liked). When I got there, I was seated and told they would be by with the chips and water shortly. They never came, and my friend and I sat there for about fifteen minutes watching the place fall down around us. They were CRAZY short staffed (and the people were piling in), one or more of their soda guns had just broken (the bartender was visually irritated when we were sat in her section, due to it), and it now looks like some Urban Outfitters with the decorations (and nothing like a Mexican restaurant). Pass. There are way too many good places to eat.

I love this place. I’m visiting from out of town and I’ve been here three times. Unfortunately, the corn chips are not gf because the oil is shared with flour fried stuff. But, other than that I have enjoyed the gf fajita’s and corn tortillas. Be careful with the margaritas they are large!! Luis Chicho was very helpful with informing me about ingredients. Thank you.

My local friend had me meet her there and I was impressed! Excellent and awesome Jello shots. Their CO2 went out but they had it remedied within the time we were there. Fun people, good vibes!

Food is good for what it is although a bit expensive.
We go quite a bit, at least a few times a month. Service is hit or miss but most of the time is good. There's been a few times where no one has come to check on us or brought missing silverware until we asked.
Atmosphere is always great

We had a great experience. My wife has food allergies and our server Brian went over and above to make sure her food was safe. The whole staff did their best and everything turned out perfect. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

I was highly impressed by the atmosphere but until I got the food I was so let down! The food smell wonderful the presentation was good until I took bite
We ordered the Big boy burrito with chicken and the iron burrito with steak. I had the steak the steak was not grilled that tasted like it was cooked in a pan. Not seasoned at all it almost tasted old. The chicken was planned it tasted like it was boiled. The red salsa they used tasted like it came out of a can it probably did. This stuff tasted like somebody's idea of homemade food my daughter makes better food than this Mexican food .

Alberto and the entire staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped inside the door. We couldn't help but look at the food at other tables around us because everything looked so delicious so it was hard to choose from the great menu of upscaled scratch Mexican cooking options. We both went with the street tacos and all four choices were superb: Al Pastor, Chicken, Beef, and Carnitas. Definitely get the guacamole with your chips! Best we've ever had and we'll definitely be back!

It took over 25 minutes for people to get service or even their first drinks or their orders taken. But once the food was ready it all came out quick and on pointe. The Taquito appetizer could very well have been a main meal it was plentiful, hot and had flavour. Everybody's food looked good and heard no complaints from our group other than the slow start.

Not for the Budget Conscious. ;)
