I think what I like most about Joy Teriyaki is the food and presentation; it’s freshly-prepared and delivered on a plate, not a cheap plastic bowl or container. The dining room is clean without the loud distractions (the tv is muted, and the overhead soundtrack mellow). I was surprised to feel like I “slowed down” to prepare a real cooked meal, rather than handed a bunch of reheated rice and warmed up frozen chicken. Everytime my wife and I eat here the food has been phenomenal. I've only dealt with the lady and she's always been easy to deal with. The serving size is pretty decent also plus you get a salad, which I never eat simply cause I'm full but the ingredients are fresh every time.
The chicken teriyaki was both moist and flavorful! The portion sizes were off the charts. I was able to get two meals out of my order. The Manager was very attentive to each and every customer. I’d definitely add that the former rating shouldn’t influence your decision to consider this restaurant!
