Are Tavern fries supposed to be served cool? Our server/bartender took drink order and he seemed put out. maybe because I was on important medical call, he interrupted my call to get our order in. Was he having bad day? I don't know but in past visits very friendly. Not sure we'll be back

Hannah was a fantastic waitress! My husband and I lived in the south for years. Hands-down the best collard greens I've ever had. I do not like spicy food, and I finished every bit of them. Burnt ends were awesome, burger was awesome, husband said the catfish was amazing and flavorful. Finally Limoncello cake and Up in Smoke are the cherry on top of this restaurant. Can't wait to come back many more times.

We really wanted to be regulars at this place and gave them so many chances but I'm officially done. The service is pretty terrible. I was one of two tables in there and it took 15 minutes for a server to finally come out of the kitchen to greet me. Why is no one in the front of house!?! I could hear them back there with the kitchen staff laughing and having a great time but unfortunately that translated to literally zero employees in The front of house for 15mins. I was so close to talking out. Finally a young woman came to greet me and I ordered the fried chicken immediately to try and make up some time. I didn't receive my food for 25 mins (again I was one of only 2 customers in the entire restaurant and I heard the server saying how slow it has been). Similar to other peoples experiences the chicken was so burnt and over done it literally hurt to eat. After she brought my food out she went right back to the kitchen, leaving the front of house completely unattended. Another couple came in to sit down and eat and I watched them leave because no one came out to take their order or even greet them. It was really weird how the staff treated this place. I'd be embarrassed if I was the owners. After the server came out of the kitchen hen another 15 mins later I finally paid for my food and left. I will not be going back and I'm making it my mission to totally discourage people from this place. The kitchen staff and employees have no pride in this place and the owners should be embarrassed how this place operates.

always great service! I usually just come in for a beverage when I get a little break from my kiddos but today I had lunch Caesar salad was good definitely add the chicken it was delish! Curly fries are super yummy also. It's always mellow in here and the staff is really friendly and attentive

Love everything about this place. We get the gulf shrimp every time! Never disappointed by it. They are big juicy good quality shrimp with excellent breading (not too bready) and just the right amount of crunch on the outside! Also got the creole linguini, never disappoints. Highly recommend the Daisy Chain Cocktail too, these are all my favorite things to get at Magnolia. Love the servers, love the atmosphere.
I was skeptical after some of the reviews I read BUT I’m so glad I didn’t listen! The food was FANTASTIC! We had a party of 5 for my birthday dinner and it did NOT disappoint! It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside. I had previously called and made reservations and they had a nice table reserved for us inside but when I asked for outside because of the weather they happily obliged and accommodated us. Our server was Hannah and she was so sweet and attentive. I love that she came around when needed but didn’t hover either. She was very accommodating and did everything with kindness and a smile. Our food came out hot and it was all delicious. Everything was perfectly timed as well. We didn’t feel rushed from drinks, to appetizers and then the main courses. They all came out at an appropriate time. It was relaxed and we all had a great time. The burnt ends and tavern fries were really good. One of my sons ordered wings and fries and said they were great (he’s pretty picky about wings). Their ranch (according to him because he’s a ranch connoisseur) was “fire”. I thought it was pretty good as well. The Jumbalaya was good and had good flavor. My husband is also picky and liked it. My other son and his girlfriend had the caddyshack sandwiches and said they were super good. They looked good for sure! I personally had the seafood linguine (minus the tomatoes) and it was FABULOUS! The sauce was heavenly and flavorful, pasta was cooked perfectly and not over cooked. The crawfish was spectacular ( wish there was a little more though) and the shrimp and sausage were really good as well. We had a few drinks that were delicious and well poured. Plus their ice cube in my drink was fun with their initials on it MT. Overall GREAT experience! Also you’re allowed to purchase the kitchen a round of drinks. It’s $10 and so fun knowing you got to basically give them all a high 5 lol. Oh I almost forgot dessert! They were so sweet and when I told them we were there for my birthday dinner she comped me my lemoncello cake. Even after she had initially rang us up. She went back and removed it from our bill before we paid. It was SPECTACULAR. And just so you know I do NOT write out reviews hardly ever. It has to be pretty darn good for me to go out of my way to do this. And I’m PICKY. Raised by a 5 star chef. (Like really. Not exaggerating). Usually when we go out we’re extremely disappointed because my husband and I are also great cooks. So this was a nice treat!!!! Thank you Hannah and Magnolia Tavern for a wonderful birthday dinner!
The staff was polite but they were extremely understaffed. Food arrived several hours after ordering. Food was not hot and not very good. I would not recommend this place.

I love this place, my boyfriend and I are regulars here. It’s perfect for a casual dining experience, you can just chill and talk. Don’t have to yell, music isn’t too loud and the food is always delicious! Low-midrange pricing. Great value for sure. A great place to just go for a few drinks as well.Parking: Not a huge parking lot, but we’ve never had an issue finding a spot.
