Really wanted to like this place over the years. I think about 6 years ago we like it more. Last two times we’ve been here, the service has slipped to the point where we felt we were being ignored. There’s an expectation of service where you get seated, get water, get drinks, then they take your order. When you sit for a long time without being asked for at least more than water - there’s a problem. The food is great. But they need to work on the service. Can get kind...
Pretty average for domestic sushi. Fish was overall, reasonably fresh but the Maguro was pretty much tasteless. Tempura was very good with a nice light batter. Thumbs up there. The miso soup however was disappointing as there was no dashi flavor - just very salty with too much miso.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian rolls and they will make the noodles dishes vegetarian if asked
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: They enjoyed having our two young kids around and had no issues with them making a mess under the table or being slightly noisy at times.
