We went to Petra House in Vancouver last night. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, although there were a few things we really enjoyed.

The best part of the meal was the dips. The hummus and baba ghanoush (eggplant dip) were delicious, and the fresh, warm bread was excellent for dipping.

The tabbouleh salad was not what I expected. It was mostly chopped parsley, with only a small amount of bulgur wheat. I would have preferred...

Oh goodness, this place is absolutely stellar! Such delicious food, beautiful decorations and atmosphere, and very welcoming wholesome staff. My husband and I chose the traditional seating and it was such a lovely experience! Highly recommend coming here!
