I will NEVER shop at Safeway again!! It is NOT senior or handicap friendly anymore. When I went to check out I was told I could not use the vynl bags with handles I've used in the past because of the virus. I had $250 worth of groceries which tells you I had a lot of items. I told the checker I had used sanitizing wipes on them and even showed them the zip lock bag of wipes I was carrying and had used on the cart to wipe it down before I started shopping. This makes no se

They have a great selection, one of the few places near me that carries Oat Milk, and many brands as well! I love their produce section and the customer service has always been good for me. The prices are a tad higher than neighboring grocers but I think it is worth it because the store is kept clean and staff is friendly.

Ok, so Fred meyer, Winco and Walmart all do chicken. But none of them have it at 8 am. I work graveyard, so this is dinnertime for me. So I find Safeway has rotisserie chicken ready then Also. Due to the lockdown, I had been considering hitting Panda and I remembered that Safeway had a similar offer. OMG for $13 I got 2X the amount panda would have sold me. Their deli is great, even though choices are limited. I have dealt with a lot of "Care-less" cashiers and support staff. Not at Safeway. Always told "thanks for coming" I always thank the deli as I know what hell they go through. The prices don't bother me when service is good. At the store, I LIKE spending it there!

If I could give less than one star, I would. The deli manager is the rudest woman I have EVER met. In the midst of a global pandemic, when everybody is already scared and stressed, she yelled at my hard of hearing mother when my mom didn't hear her the first time. I have asked her a question about a type of meat and if they carried it, and she snapped at me and told me they NEVER would and to get it out of my head. I am utterly disgusted by this woman, and the fact that she is not only allowed to get away with this type of stuff, but also is the MANAGER shows that Safeway clearly does not care about its customers. I will never come back as long as that vile woman gets to yell and be rude to customers. In case she isn't aware, WE are the reason she gets paid. If we don't come in, YOU don't make money. Maybe you should learn how to act if you work a customer service job. If you want to treat people like garbage, find a place that doesn't allow you to work with people. Safeway- we are supposed to be taking care of each other during these times. Maybe you should retrain your deli manager and teach her to keep her bad attitude to herself. I will not be back, and I urge others to remind Safeway that CUSTOMERS are the main part of CUSTOMER SERVICE. I work a service job as well, and I would've been fired immediately, but I suppose my job actually cares about the people we serve. I would LOVE to be contacted about this. I would love to hear your reasoning for letting this go on, because there is no excuse for letting your employees treat people so poorly. None at all.

I had my first opportunity to shop at this location in quite sometime and enjoyed the wide aisles, good lighting and cleanliness. My wife sent me with a list that has notes about digital coupons and being totally confused what to look for I got the attention of Michele who helped me get all that I needed. Greatly appreciated. I always regret coming in to a Safeway. Stores are always unorganized, half stocked and missing customer service. This one is no different. Came in for Italian parsley and walked out empty handed and frustrated. None in the regular or organic section. All that was available was some tiny little pre-packaged sprigs for $2. I would have to pay $8 to get the regular bundled amount I need. I asked for someone to see about checking the back but no one showed. Figures.
