A lovely coffee shop with breakfast and lunch food options along with pastry and ice cream. The cold brew coffee was smooth and delicious. We also had chicken tortilla soup that was so flavorful and full of veggies. The grilled cheese with cheddar and Swiss was a hit as well. Such a great place.
Stopped at Savona in the middle of a waterfront walk and it exceeded my expectations. The staff is so friendly and was patient with my back and forth decisions of what to select from their menu to drink. (I know annoying.) I ended up getting an Italian soda and my sister got the banana bread matcha. She kept saying how excellent the drink was. And they were exactly right for this autumn walk. We also got the coffee cafe and it was delicious.
Cozy small business atmosphere. Good comfort food and coffee for your riverfront walk. I make it a pit stop on my longer walks around Fort Vancouver, Esther Short Farmer's Market, and riverfront walk. 7 miles roundtrip walk, pit stop for soup or ice cream affogato 😅, bathroom break, then walk another 3.5 miles. The staff is friendly and attentive. Cozy nooks and sofa for larger groups, or counter window seating.
