I've never eaten at one of these franchises before this visit. The bacon double cheeseburger was a bit greasy but good. I didn't get any fries or anything to go with it. The bacon cheeseburger was plenty.
Did pick up. We loved Shake Shack in Vegas and wanted to make sure it wasn't just the booze talking. Counter help was nice and friendly. Got bacon cheeseburger and fries. I wish that the burger was wrapped up better for togo so it stayed warm. Burger was a little salty but that could have been the bacon. Still thought it was pretty good. Fries were better than remembered. Would go again.
I was super impressed with the soullessness of the customer journey — automated kiosks, text messages, electronic payments. The very model of self-service complete with tip annoyance and upcharges, I didn’t have to interact with anyone except for the moment of accepting my meal. Super Fantastic if you’re into that kind of thing. I will say the chicken burger was very good and the fries as well. The restaurant was clean, and the shaded dining experience...
