Ren ( she had yellow hair I believe ) was very rude while fixing my drink, making passive-aggressive expressions that made the interaction really uncomfortable. But I want to give a big thank you to Isabell for being so sweet at the window… I’m sure it was awkward for her to have a coworker act like that. Her kindness really stood out and made the situation better.
I love this Starbucks. This is my home store. My little caffeine church. So this is NOT about the baristas — they’re doing their best. This is about corporate and whatever glitchy chaos they call a mobile ordering system.
I ordered ahead, waited ten minutes, strolled in thinking I was slick… and my drink wasn’t even started. Meanwhile someone walked in after me, ordered like it was nothing, and boom — their drink popped out like they had Amazon Prime for coffee.
So tell me… what exactly is the perk of online ordering? Because right now it feels like the perk is standing around questioning my life choices while my drink is eleven minutes late.
Starbucks charges almost ten dollars for these drinks. Ten dollars! For that price, my latte should appear on the counter already holding my hand. Or at least be ready when the app says it’ll be ready.
I love y’all, but come on. With three baristas, online orders shouldn’t be treated like side quests. Please fix whatever corporate nonsense is going on before I end up writing my name on the cup myself.
This isn’t the first time nor will it be the last.

To the barista with green hair that helped with my order this afternoon: thank you so much for your patience and kindness with me today, I know how it is to work service jobs and I just want you to know I appreciate you sm💜💜 I embarrassed myself multiple times because I was not communicating as effectively/interrupting while you were talking to the other person in the drive thru, and you met me more than halfway. People like you make the world a better place. And my drink was delicious as always🔥💜 thank you thank you thank you for your grace🥰 and I love ur vibe and glasses😇

Starbucks website says they are open until 8. I walked by at 5:45, and the doors were locked. An employee came to the drive through window to me and said that they are open until 8, but only if you have a car to go through the drive through, even though she did say that the lobby was open for another 45 minutes. So the hours listed on their website are off, especially if you don't find the need to pollute the environment with a car.

Today, I went to this Starbucks location to meet up with a kiddo for a program I work for. We quietly sat at a table and worked on a computer. I can’t believe I’m even writing this but I was told we had to leave unless I purchased something. I had gotten a latte earlier that morning from Starbucks and told the girl I would show her the purchase in my app to which she replied “no. You have to purchase something here. I’ll give you 5 minutes.”
I asked if this was a new policy and she said yes and it was a global policy and that there was a homeless problem. Clearly, I was not homeless nor was I causing any type of issue and I had given my business to Starbucks once that day.
I worked for Starbucks during college and the only time I ever asked anyone to leave the store was someone who was clearly using the bathroom to bathe.
Whoever is the manager at this store needs to re evaluate. Who is the district manager? This was totally ridiculous. Out of touch. Unreasonable.

I called and was promised a remake of my drink. I went back and told the barista the name of the person who made that promise. I was told that no one by that name worked at the store. They refused the remake. Does corporate tell them to lie to customers?

Only good thing about this biznatch is the free wifi
I come into this area every so often and the matcha is always consistently good (well made) I can’t say the same for other locations across Vancouver. Staffs always friendly.
