Today, I went to this Starbucks location to meet up with a kiddo for a program I work for. We quietly sat at a table and worked on a computer. I can’t believe I’m even writing this but I was told we had to leave unless I purchased something. I had gotten a latte earlier that morning from Starbucks and told the girl I would show her the purchase in my app to which she replied “no. You have to purchase something here. I’ll give you 5 minutes.”
I asked if this was a new policy and she said yes and it was a global policy and that there was a homeless problem. Clearly, I was not homeless nor was I causing any type of issue and I had given my business to Starbucks once that day.
I worked for Starbucks during college and the only time I ever asked anyone to leave the store was someone who was clearly using the bathroom to bathe.
Whoever is the manager at this store needs to re evaluate. Who is the district manager? This was totally ridiculous. Out of touch. Unreasonable.

I called and was promised a remake of my drink. I went back and told the barista the name of the person who made that promise. I was told that no one by that name worked at the store. They refused the remake. Does corporate tell them to lie to customers?

The employees are awesome. At least the ones I've had the pleasure of interacting with. I really enjoy the Hot grande blonde vanilla latte, which I only tried because the lady taking my order suggested it as opposed to an extra squirt of vanilla. Have Been ordering it ever since. So thank you, young lady.

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Just paid $9.70 for 90% ice Trenta pink drink, literally they filled I ice to the top. I watched them make it while I was waiting and the barista literally dumped a portion of my drink away because it didn’t fit in the cup full of ice. The person who took my order was nice but otherwise this made my day worse, I was already in an upset mood this result made it 10x worse.

My husband just went through the drive thru and ordered my coffee and told then he had a personal cup and to redeem the free cold foam. He pulled up to the window to see that they made the coffee in a plastic cup and then they proceeded to dump that coffee in my personal cup. He told them no and to remake it and the man gave him attitude. And on top of that charged him for the cold foam. Absolutely horrible service. Never again at this store

This is an unusually bad Starbucks location, so much so that we’ve quit going entirely even though it’s right next to Winco which we visit every week or two. As others have mentioned, extremely poor and disjointed customer service. The final straw with us was when they randomly shut down in the middle of the afternoon and didn’t even put a sign up at the drive thru so customers were wasting time pulling up and waiting. Really is one of those locations where if Starbucks could see how badly it was going down, they might be less inclined to scratch their heads and play dumb about their sharply declining sales.
Worst service ever!!! I ordered a grande ice chai with 8 pumps chai. They handed me a venti. I didnt want a venti so they remade a grande and the grande was as pale milk colored as the venti! It should be brown. 2 employees in there argued with me saying they put 8 pumps chai. I said thats not possible! Chai is brown. They ignored me and made me take the drink anyway!! I ended up taking my cup of $6 milk to another location they happily remade it for free. I will NEVER return to this location.

Militant about requiring proof of purchase before being allowed to use the restroom, although I had ordered through the app. They should know I had ordered since they are the ones fulfilling the order. Obnoxious and rude, saying "Have a bad day". The manager had the same attitude and ordered me out of the store, refusing to give me the code to the restroom. Quite a few stores are asking if you have made a purchase first, based on this new policy, most don't ask, but no store has been as offensive about it until this one.
Been reading some reviews, looks like nearly all comment on the poor attitude of the staff at this location. I think it's time for a review of management here. The poor attitude that I experienced has permiated the staff and that is tied to one person. I should go back and get her name and photo to post here. Maybe it's tied to the homeless population around this location that other reviewers mention. Maybe they have become embittered dealing with the drug addict freeloaders who want just to use the restroom. Maybe that's why Starbucks instituted the policy of only customers using the restrooms, which is admirable because I have become irritated at having to wait and wait for some homeless stinking person hogging the restrooms and then dealing with their mess. Problem is that now everyone is getting the homeless animosity directed at them instead of hospitality.
A couple days later: just went to the Park Place location and was greeted with a smile and "are you Willis, here's your order and the restroom code". Couldn't have been as different as night from day than the 18th and Andreson store.
