Bestest meatloaf ever. The kind your great grandmother would make. 2 big slices, thick, juicy with excellent flavor. Cheerful, wonderful, friendly, efficient staff too. Oh forgot, the meatloaf came with thin sliced potatoes, lots of roasted Brussels sprouts ... oh man, my mouth is watering. Anyone have a bib?
This cute little non-profit diner is owned by Meals on Wheels, so there’s no tipping which kind of sucks for us because our server, Key, was fantastic! Food was quite good, atmosphere is typical for an open area diner. They had a limited menu due to a short kitchen staff, but there was plenty of food to select from. Of course, I ordered the traditional platter, and wifey ordered the small platter with a little less food. Her order was rejected by Cookie McLine-Cook because...
I have dined here about 3 times. I can't say I've really enjoyed anything I've had here that much as it was very mediocre. Nice mission but not worth another visit from me.
