The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and personable. The ice cream was phenomenal, I had the banana nilla wafer and my fiance had the cookie butter cheesecake. Both flavors had a lot of flavor and the ice cream was so smooth and creamy. They encouraged us to try as many flavors as we wanted and we chatted a bit as we checked out. Definitely make sure you try this amazing place if you're in the area!
Treat is the best! Workers are so friendly. Love the rotating flavors. Creamy high quality taste. Favorite is the butter cake 🙌
Wow wow wow. I can honestly say this is the best cream I’ve had. We used to go to Salt N Straw but this place is small/local, cheaper, and so much creamier. The flavors hit the spot every time. Tons of cookie or cake rolled into it. Ooey gooey and cookie butter cheesecake or my two top faves.
OMFG! I have had gelato in Italy. I have had Bette Rae’s in Kansas City. I have had Salt and Straw. None come close to the magnificent tasty glory of Treat! You have me, heart and soul (and stomach)!
THE BEST ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. You can tell it is handmade with love. Months later and I am still drooling over the salted caramel. I will literally travel back to Washington just to eat this ice cream again. ❤️
Could watch the ice cream being made. Some of the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Such fun and inventive flavors!
Awesome ice cream and waffle cones. Love the fact they have tons of mix-ins, most places have bits and pieces…not here! Gooey butter cake, mint and cookies, and chocolate brownie are amazing!
Best ice cream
Best ice cream joint in greater Portland - worth the drive.
Great ice cream when they’re open… but you never really know when they’re temporarily closed or they suddenly change their hours. Came to the store and it says open on google. There’s no notice on their Instagram page either that they’re closed today. Not our first time in this situation unfortunately.

Treat has succumbed to shrinkflation. What they sell as a pint is now 14 ounces. You are getting
12-1/2% less ice cream for the price of a pint. Don’t get me wrong; their ice cream is fantastic, I just think that they should let their customers know that the pints aren’t pints. Either that, or raise the price by a dollar or so and sell a 16 oz. carton. Do the right thing.
Listen to the people! This place is no joke - we went in today when it was dead to sample a couple of flavors (they let you sample as many as you want with their spoons) and they were all bangers. The seasonal pumpkin pie was pretty good but I ended up getting a bramble berry oat crumble / ooey butter cake scoop and it was to die for!!! They have large chunks of that cake mixed into the ice cream and it is a divine experience. I also had a large bite of husbands mint cookies and cream - if that sounds like your style of flavor, it is very good.
Our families favorite ice cream in town. The staff is extremely helpful and happy to dish out samples (ps - they’re all good). Highlights have included the strawberry, the mango passion fruit, and Lucky Charms! Love their seasonal offerings as well as their mainstays.
I try to avoid a lot of sugar as much as possible, so when I do eat it it has to be worth it! Treat has great ice cream. It is perfectly chunky with a lot mix ins which is just how I like it. I have tried a few of their flavors but the main standout is the peanut butter cup and the coffee toffee. Their cookie dough is okay. Salt and straws and the ice cream place over on woodstocks is better.
While there isn’t anywhere to sit inside, there are picnic tables outside. The only downside here is that the inside could be designed better. It is awkward to walk in and wait in the line with little room to move so people hold the door and wait outside or crowd around the register. Overall best ice cream for the price in downtown Vancouver
We were waiting in line at the salt and straw and it was hot and taking awhile when my husband looked up other places and we found Treat. We decided to drive over and I think we made the right decision for our ice cream spot. The salted peanut butter cup, and the butter cake ice cream are AMAZING!! (Pictured right) My husband went with more classic flavored got cookies and cream and something else (pictured left). He tried my ice cream and said it was the best he’s had also! I wish I could have more of that ice cream it was the best!
