The quality is good, I don’t want this review to reflect that… the pricing is absolutely insane… order Cali Fires and for $18 I expect it to be loaded with meat… nope. One little piece every 5-6 bites… el hefe is next door, charges $13 for there Barria fries and it’s absolutely loaded with meat and cheese and other goodies…. I love that they make food fresh but when I pay $18 and get a straight up container of fries with cheese… sucky. Yall can do better.

The Northwest burrito was pretty good! Green sauce was great! A bit over priced but a good way to treat yourself.

Better than Taco Bell , but not as good as any of the local taco trucks.

The "nachos" was tortilla chips with room temperature refried beans, sour cream, guac and cold unmelted shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Super gross. Even dive bars melt the cheese on their nachos. Cant believe I spent 20 bucks on that.

A little pricey for what you get and can be a bit slow but honestly food taste good and they are never rude.

We are in the autumn of our years, the leaves have fled the trees like clouds of starlings. The weather has changed, it is cold and the days have become dark and menacing.
It is the last day of the year. It’s been a rough one, the country is divided and the future uncertain.

What I wanted on this precipice of change, this symbolic day, was something crunchy, savory and deep with heart and history. All of the places on my list were closed and as a last resort I turned to Victorico’s, thankful it was open as the clock began to wind down.

The place is stark, bright colors, but with no character. Like a Mexican McDonald’s, all plastic and steel and nothing personal.
I got the plate with four rolled tacos, or as I know them, taquitos with rice and beans. I was hungry for a certain texture, a desire for a tactile sensation… A crunch in other words.

This seemed like a safe bet, I don’t think I’ve ever had a taquito that wasn’t crunchy, well as we launch into the new year that has changed for me on this night. The plate which arrived extraordinarily fast looked OK, but the speed with which it came should have warned me.
These were not fresh. They were not crunchy and they tasted stale. They had obviously been sitting somewhere in storage in the back. The meat inside was flavorless and bland, the rice and beans like ghosts upon the plate.
I get better taquitos at Costco, and for a lot less.
The hibiscus drink was OK although it had so much sugar in it as to almost be a syrup. I liked the serve yourself salsa bar, but neither of those things come anywhere near redeeming this sad New Year’s Eve.
Good Mexican food can be profound. It can be deep and savory and take you south of the border to colorful streets and warm blue water. You can taste the history, the heart and love as it graces your taste buds. Good Mexican food takes me back on a journey through my past, kind people, strong hands, and honest straightforward food.
But this is not that. I will hazard to say it is the worst Mexican food I have ever had in Vancouver, which is saying something.
There is no heart here, there is nothing welcoming or memorable or exciting. It is a sellout to the worst of American culture.
It is like a masquerade of what real Mexican food can be. A taquito mask covering emptiness and mediocrity.
This is a hard no for me.

The beans and rice were a little bit boring. The chicken fajita tasted really good. Portions were large enough to satisfy most appetites.

Wheelchair accessibility: One part of the handicap section is built up so a lift can be used and be level the healthy people might fall off the edge of the build-up I know I did

Food is good. I like the cheese dip and chips. But the chips are a bit oily. I also like the burritos.

I am a Pozole expert...have been for years. I will drive a long distance if I know it's going to be good. I called to confirm they had Pozole, and they did. When I placed my order is asked for no bones and no fat. When I got my order, there was 3 pieces of meat for the entire bowl. I took my bowl to the counter and showed them there was no meat. They eventually brought me a bowl with meat, and it was really good! I didn't like that they served chips for the Pozole. You should corn tortillas that are fried.

I've always been happy with the food at this restaurant. I ordered a surf and turf burrito today, they forgot the surf. Half my burrito is eaten and I called them, they tell me to bring what's left back and they'll remake it for me. It's a fifteen minute drive each way my lunch is over. Thanks for your offer to correct your screw up.
