Was not thrilled with our server don't think she was the best choice for a big group. She did her best just a little slow. We are regular customers and love wahi alot!
We were really disappointed in the food and in the service with this place ultimately it was not great. The coconut shrimp was not even battered w coconut and tastes like it came from a freezer bag. The pork sliders we mediocre and for $16 for 3 there was hardly any meat in them and no slaw etc. The only saving grace was the drinks which were great. Service was terrible. Slow and the waitress was rude! Will never go back. Really disappointing.
First time visiting on a Monday night! Arrived early and were able to get seated right away. Excellent service and drinks!
My favorite local date night spot

LISTEN UP, YOU FREAKS.
This place is very good and is full of alcohol and Hawaiian. The food is very good, their fries are crunchy, a mouth surprise. There is a TV that is pretending to be a window to the islands and theres a make believe thunderstorm sometimes.
Their prices are more reasonable than you are expecting (yeah, you, freak-o).
Any way 10/10 5/5, I love you.

Been here 5/6 times and the food is good and the drinks are VERY good. Never had a problem with drinks or food. But there is ONE particular waiter who absolutely horrible. Always has a chip on her shoulder and is really rude. The last time we were there, she threw the happy hour menu when we decided the bar instead of a table. For the same reason, she’s just flat out rude. I would visit more often, if she would change her demeanor. She is older but I literally have no patience for rude waiters.

Fun atmosphere and great staff. Unfortunately, the fish part of the fish and chips entree was dry, although chips were good, and kalua pork entree was blasé. It will be a while before we consider going back.
Amazing atmosphere . We just went for one drink and stayed for three . Great selection on drinks.

This place is super cool. Real tiki bar environment from top to bottom. Themed lighting, TVs to mimic the views, and audiovisual thunderstorm happens every so often. Good food too.
Wahi Hana Tiki Bar is one of the most unique and enjoyable spots you can visit. The moment you walk inside, you’re transported into a completely different world — a vibrant, tropical paradise right in the city. The atmosphere is incredibly immersive, filled with colorful décor, warm lighting, and authentic Polynesian-inspired details that make the entire place feel fun, exotic, and full of personality. It’s truly one of those rare bars where the vibe alone is worth the visit.
The service at Wahi Hana is outstanding. The staff is friendly, energetic, and always seems genuinely excited to help guests enjoy their time. They’re extremely knowledgeable about the menu, especially the cocktails, and can offer great suggestions based on your preferences. Whether you like something sweet, strong, fruity, or completely unique, they’ll guide you to the perfect drink with a smile. Their hospitality adds a special touch that makes you feel welcome and appreciated.
Now, let’s talk about the drinks — absolutely phenomenal. Wahi Hana is known for its creative and beautifully crafted cocktails, and they truly exceed expectations. Each drink is like a work of art, both visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. The balance of ingredients is perfect, and you can taste the quality in every sip. The fresh fruit, house-made syrups, and expertly chosen spirits make every cocktail stand out. This is one of the few places where you can confidently try something new every time and never be disappointed.
The food menu is also impressive. The small plates and appetizers are flavorful, well-prepared, and perfectly match the tropical theme. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made, with a fun twist that makes the dining experience even more memorable.
The atmosphere deserves one more mention — it’s lively yet relaxing, with great music and a layout that makes it easy to enjoy a night out with friends, a date, or even a solo visit. Every corner of the bar has its own charm, making the whole place feel like an adventure.
Overall, Wahi Hana Tiki Bar is a true gem. It’s the perfect escape from routine life, offering top-tier cocktails, delicious food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable tropical ambiance. If you’re looking for a fun, vibrant, and completely unique experience, Wahi Hana Tiki Bar is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have gone here a few times on dates for just us, or with other friends, and I just want to say, it's always a lovely experience. They have a huge drink menu that gives off the Tiki Hawaiian vibes we look for when coming here. I love their food! I typically get their tsunami fries? and Kahlua pork or their sliders. They have Spam Musubi and other great food options. I have always been greeted friendly by the waiters/waitresses and hostesses. They are also super knowledgeable about the menu and can give you advice on good dishes to try or drinks, etc. Like a tiki bar, they have a dark ambience, but it is still enjoyable. They have some fun visual things on the wall and can make it look like there's a volcano, and you can even hear some rain, etc. I cannot wait for my next visit here again!

It was my birthday get together with my cousins. There were 6 of us so my cousin made a reservation and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was great but expensive for the small portions. They had a great selection of tiki drinks and they were good. Service was slow but they were busy the whole time. My cousin and I had just gotten a second drink when they told us we would have to go in 10 minutes because they had a group coming in and needed the table. I thought that was a bit rude when we had just been served and they could have offered us a smaller table. I think that's the first time I've been asked to leave a bar.
Their parking lot is very small also.

This tiki bar was done right. Many places have 1 or 2 masks on the walls and maybe a painting or two to complete the look. This place has it all. The large tv behind the bar displayed a scenic view of a volcano, supported by screens on the opposing wall and even the ceiling. As the seasons change on the tv, so does the lighting of the bar. (I'll leave the rest of the decor to establish itself ;) ) The staff were helpful in choosing a drink to try and the cooks made some spectacular spam fried rice. Come for the drinks. Stay for the atmosphere. Great place to have some fun. not too loud, but also not so quiet you feel bad for talking.

The vibes be vibin’! This place is awesome! The rain, thunder, & lightning SFX were especially fun in a tropical setting on an otherwise cold & rainy Vancouver night. We had delicious drinks & flavorful food that came out hot. Alexis was an excellent & I do mean an excellent server. She made our anniversary night out a top notch experience! The bartender was also pretty great, seating us & bringing our food out. The bathroom was very clean as well which often goes unnoticed at many an establishment. Strongly recommend the spam fried rice & the macaroni salad.
Thanks again Alexis!
