We love Wahi Hana. The staff is terrific, the food is tasty, the drinks (especially the Zombie) will let you know that you have had a drink, and the atmosphere is fun. And they have Dole Whip. Dole Whip rum floats. Need I say more?

Pu pu platter was good. Mahi tacos were ok. Mac salad was mediocre. Wing were very very dry...not pleasant. Kaluah pork was as expected. Drinks were good. Service was great until the end...we waited a long time for our check. All of us said we were glad for the experience but won't be back.

This place is great! There is an extensive cocktail list; good luck picking one because they all look amazing! Try the tsunami fries and do yourself a favor, put some of that cole slaw on top. That'll do the trick.

The kahlua pork i had was way over salted like a salt lick. Taking care of on the bill obviously. Atmosphere and drinks was great.

A great concept and a nice change of pace. It's nice to see this in Vancouver. The menu was authentic Hawaiian, both in food and drink. The wings were good, as were the hurricane fries, spam fried rice and lumpias. Where it really fell short was the service. It was difficult to get the attention of our wait staff and the bartender seemed slow, even though it wasn't particularly busy. I don't know that I would return but it's great to finally see some creativity in the Vancouver restaurant scene.

5 stars for the adorable decor which I can best describe by comparing it to the old Disney’s enchanted tiki room (RIP). Loved the thunderstorms though they could use some smoke and something a little “extra”. I really came here to discuss the service. We did not have a reservation (shame on us) so ended up at the bar with our group of four. We sat for about 20 minutes before we were able to even order a drink. Apparently the two bartenders were making drinks for one big table and this consumed them that entire time. When we were able to order, we were told again that more drinks had to be made before ours would be started. Might I suggest another bartender for the service well on a Saturday night? Our food started to arrive before we even received the drinks and not surprisingly we had not been provided with cutlery or napkins prior to receiving the food. We asked for waters and they were delivered to our friends but not to us. Honestly it was laughable. The pain killers were good, but not 30 minutes of waiting good. I’d go back for the honey Thai wings but that’s about it.

horrible swill in a glass. I have been to tiki bars around the world for years. this was the truly worst drinks I have had. hell. islands had better cocktails. vic and Don would cry. I hated paying g for these atrocities. go to the coral club for real proper tiki drinks.
Mediocre food with no diversity or much Vegan food. I took my BF here and he is Vegan, there was only ONE vegetarian dish! C’mon guys, step up your menu.

1st time visiting and we came by word of mouth. So many things to talk about but I'll go top three: Food tasted good and felt like the price was reasonable. The drinks tasted good with the right alcohol content. The attention to detail on plating the food and the use of fruit to decorate the drinks made me feel they have pride in what they serve. Finally, get the Dole Whip...we've been to the plantation and know what it's supposed to taste like and this is it! We love soft serve and it was real good. Yes, we will be back!

Janet has been our server twice in the last two months and she is absolutely delightful. We love this little pretend piece of the island life. The cocktails are delicious, and the food is great. Go for the drinks but have a ride home!

The food is always amazing! Drinks are also fantastic. The service this time was less than expected this time. The server delivered the wrong app. The correctly ordered app didnt show up until I was almost done with my mean. I was then charged for the wrong app and the right app on the bill. Had to get it corrected before I paid the bill. Our server just seemed distracted last night.

I rarely write reviews, but I look at them A LOT when I'm searching for gluten free food. Soo, I got nervous when I only saw 1 review using the word gluten, and it was recent & bad... However, seems like the server that person got was just a jerk because ours was *amazing*! (Not that only employing 1 jerk is good for business... 🤔) But anyhow, FYI, they do have a GF cheat sheet in the back for servers to reference. The hurricane fries were yummy, as was the bananas foster. My friend's wings looked fantastic too. I also got the Tropic Tundra mocktail. The simple blend of citrus, coconut and vanilla was so lovely and surprising. Well done to whoever mixed that recipe up 👏👏👏
Honestly though, the waitress/server/busser/SheDidFreakingEverything-er was absolutely killing it running all over the place. She was extremely helpful & sweet even though she had a couple larger tables and now a needy GF person with lots of questions 😅 She's the only reason I decided to write this rare review at all. I'm fairly certain she never stopped moving, yet totally kept her cool. Even while trying to walk away from the same table next to us about 4 times while getting hit with more questions & requests lol. If she doesn't literally already run the place, she deserves a raise!!
