We love Wahi Hana. The staff is terrific, the food is tasty, the drinks (especially the Zombie) will let you know that you have had a drink, and the atmosphere is fun. And they have Dole Whip. Dole Whip rum floats. Need I say more?
This place is great! There is an extensive cocktail list; good luck picking one because they all look amazing! Try the tsunami fries and do yourself a favor, put some of that cole slaw on top. That'll do the trick.
A great concept and a nice change of pace. It's nice to see this in Vancouver. The menu was authentic Hawaiian, both in food and drink. The wings were good, as were the hurricane fries, spam fried rice and lumpias. Where it really fell short was the service. It was difficult to get the attention of our wait staff and the bartender seemed slow, even though it wasn't particularly busy. I don't know that I would return but it's great to finally see some creativity...
