Kabocha squash yellow curry with fried tofu was delicious but the pad thai with pork missed the mark. The pork was overcooked and tough. The pad thai also seemed a bit dry and the seasoning was not my favorite. Portion sizes were decent.
best thai food i’ve ever had. unique dishes, plus the classics were delicious as well. decor was beautiful. service was friendly and understanding of our big party with kids. would hop on a ferry any day to come here. everything was great, especially the eggplant appetizer, string beans entree, and pad thai (more flavorful than the average place).
Just had an amazing dinner at May Kitchen + Bar on Vashon Island. Ordered the vegan Phad Thai with tofu, and it was spot on. Loved the fresh lime, bean sprouts, peanuts, and the perfect mix of sweet and spicy flavors. Sitting at the bar was a cool experience, especially when the bartender mixed everything together right in front of us. Totally unexpected and made the meal even better. Also unexpected was the live music with a talented acoustic solo guitarist. One of the best dinners...
