Employees are super nice and friendly both at the coffee shop and gift store area. Such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with people sitting outside on the porch. We were driving around and came to a stop sign outside of this place and the aroma of roasting coffee made us pull over and come inside. I would rate their espresso quite high - definitely way above average. Bought some light roast Guatemalan beans and honey.

Technivorm drip brewers on the shelf for sale a 3 group La Marzocco Strada in all its glory center counter, a few nice grinders, add it up and there's a house mortgage worth of high end equipment and specialty green beans(did I mention they roast on site!)

Top favorite macchiato up there with lighthouse roasters. Excellent texture, size and milk to espresso to foam ratio. Wonderful addition to town. Never too busy and I appreciate the lively music.

Barista “Max” is always helpful and has some good fits. Next time you visit, make sure to ask him for “the old ring-dinger”. He will know what you’re looking for.

This is the funky roadside coffee shop and store with all sorts of cool things that I love. 16 ounce coffee is $3. Easy to miss the great store on the right - don't! No WIFI is a bummer (why only 4 stars) but beside that wonderful ambiance.

I had a really lovely experience at Pollard Coffee. I'm a new resident of Vashon and took the day to scope out the some new territory. The Island can be a little lonely at times, but my experience with Nicole changed that. She served me a beautiful cup of coffee with flavors that were bold and complex. It was symphonic. While she was preparing my drink, I found out she was Russian, and we bantered a bit about our home towns and such. Before I knew it, 30 minutes had gone by and it was time for me to hop on the ferry. My main takeaway: you can get "good" coffee anywhere in the PNW but the craft that comes with culture is being slowly diluted. That's not the case at Pollard. Nicole, the bean, and the meticulous steps she took in order to create a simple beverage left me feeling simultaneously homesick and right at home.
