“The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars today is because you have changed your policies. What drew me to Mod Pizza was the “Build your own” concept. My favorite pizza is simply LOTS of pepperoni (your term, Armadillo it!), some mushrooms & olives. Today I was told you are no longer letting people put that much on because it is not cost effective. Therefore, my pizza was not as good as it was before. Needless to say, I was very disappointed as we drove from Pendleton just for your pizza. I understand that it probably costs you more, but that is what your reputation was built on. I even said I would be happy to pay more for the additional pepperoni, but was told that was not an option. Why not?? I’m certain other customers would do the same. As it stands, I am not planning on returning any time soon. Please do something so your customers have options. Thank you.“

“My wife has an autoimmune disease and cannot ingest gluten. She asked what precautions, if any, could be taken with preparing the gluten-free pizza. The workers assured her they could mark it as an allergy and would then be able to take precautions, including using a clean pizza slicer, when preparing the pizza. We decided to try and she if she would get sick. It is the next day, and she has had no symptoms. Thank you for being diligent in preparing our food!
Dietary restrictions: Shared an experience in the earlier post about this local walla walla making gf accommodations which is really thoughtful and nice at how open they were to doing this and being open with how busy they were and we worked with them and how busy they were and they cleaned up that spot in the kitchen. Can't say enough how much this means for my wife and I!!“

“I always enjoy the pizza as well as the staff here. It's clean and, tho the staff is young, they do a good job with customers.
Kid-friendliness: Staff is never inappropriate when children are present.
Parking: Parking both in front of door as well as further out. There are 2 handicap spots not far from the door. Usually not a problem to find a space that is close. They will also bring it to your car if you ask.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible spot between the 2 handicap spaces.“

“Great place. Good pizza. Gluten free option is great but expensive for the small size.
Dietary restrictions: I B have to be gluten free and they have a wonderful and delicious gluten free crust. The only issue is it’s quite expensive for a very small pizza. I wish it were more normal sized.
Kid-friendliness: My kids love it.“

“So, I’m new in town, right? Everyone I meet keeps saying, "You *have* to try this place. It’ll change your life!" After hearing this for the 347th time, I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about.
But let me tell you, the journey to pizza nirvana wasn’t easy. First, I had to navigate the mean streets of town (okay, it was just a block, but stay with me here). As I approached the entrance, out of nowhere, a wild-eyed, cheese-loving local appeared, blocking my path. He looked at me, then at the door, and shouted, "This pizza’s *mine!*"
Now, I’ve faced some challenges in my day, but nothing like this. We engaged in an epic standoff—a battle of wills, fueled by my growing hunger. With a swift move, I dodged, weaved, and finally, with the precision of a ninja, I sidestepped the guy and made it inside.
And let me tell you, the hype was real. The pizza was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. But the real kicker? The garlic ranch. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth—and I’ve put a lot in my mouth, if you catch my drift.
So, if you're new in town or just haven't experienced the magic yet, do yourself a favor and get down here. You might have to fend off a few pizza-crazed locals, but trust me, it’s worth every bite. ??“
