I grew up in Washougal and went back for a baby shower. We stopped here for food and it's honestly super cute. We didn't notice the building moving all that much while we were eating and it was fun to watch all the boats come and go from the launch. Service was great and the staff were very polite. Definitely give it a chance!
Such a cute little place on the river! Literally, floating on the Columbia! My family and I went during the Christmas Ships parade and had dinner while the ships did their circle. My husband and I got a soup that was delicious and my daughter got fish and chips (smiley face shaped chips, she loved that)
I ordered the Cuban sandwich which had all the right elements, but fell flat because it wasn’t grilled in a traditional sandwich press which always adds a nice crunchiness to the sandwich. I also found the sweet hot mustard off-putting. My companion had the popcorn scallops which would have been more appropriate as an appetizer. Not a super-good first impression, food-wise, but the setting can’t be beat and the servers were attentive. Pricey but probably to be expected considering...
