We stopped here for lunch on a cross-state road trip, wanted something different than fast food. The inside is full of antique tables and decor. Menu was not large, but a good variety of menu options. We tried salads, Cobb, and Washington Apple. Very fresh ingredients, a 1/2 salad was a generous portion. Saw a delicious hamburger go by, plus several homemade soups and desserts (too full to try, but looked yummy). A definite nice change of pace and stop on Hwy 2.
If you want to step back in time and eat some fresh farm to table homemade cooking, this is the spot to go. The waitress was so friendly. Will definitely be returning.Thank you for the experience and great food.

People couldn't be nicer! Friendly and polite. Never over or under doing service. Even the menu is written in a friendly manner! Food is very good. Freshly prepared and nicely seasoned. I strongly recommend the beer-battered fries. Also the soups...tomato basil and split pea when we were there. For vegans, note that there was cheese in my tomato soup.
